If so, what are they? Humblebrag away.
I don’t have any. None. Artistic or otherwise.
I can’t play any instruments, I can sorta draw but haven’t done it in years, I can’t make a knot out of cherry stem with my tongue, nor can I sing.
Today as I was curling my hair while singing to Christina Aguilera’s Bound By You – I realized that my voice could terrify a small child.

My talent is that I can cross my eyes, and I can cross one eye at a time. Not much of a talent but I used to get a good laugh out of it at parties… I would walk up to a cute guy with one eye crossed and introduce myself and see how long I could hold a conversation before I busted out with laughter.

i write poetry, im not sure if thats a talent. i really wish i could sing though, i love music so much but i sound like a baby kitten

@DaneLady: Oh my gosh you can even hold them like that??? I can do that as well, but only for a second – any longer and I feel like something is being torn apart in there. Haha. Awesome talent.
@CarpefnDiem: Maybe you could write music. 🙂

@Mimoza: thats a good idea 🙂 i dont know if im that talented though lol

@Mimoza: If I hold it too long I do get a headache.
I can sing ok, but not great. Can’t play any instruments either. I can’t draw/paint/sculpt- definitely not artistic. I can really only contort my eyes just enough to look like I may have a mental deficit. Fabulous :/

- I’ve juggled since I was 13 – clubs, rings, and up to 4 balls (I’m not being dirrrrty). My living room has a unicycle on display that I’ve had since I was 17, but I haven’t figured out how to ride it more than 20ft.
- I’ve played piano since I was 7. Flute from ages 12-20.
- I can fold my tongue in a way that it displays 3 folds or “petals”
I have lots of other hobbies, though, but I wouldn’t consider those “talents.”

I can sing.
I actually used to travel and get paid and all that jazz. I was well on my way to making something of it. Until all of a sudden, due to a family loss, the joy of doing it was just sucked out of it. I developed kind of a fear actually to going on stage because of the emotions it brings up and the connection to the loss I suffered. So I gave it up and never looked back. I still keep in touch with my old team and they still ask if im ready to give it a go again. I have lots of connections in the music industry, some really big names actually, and I let down a lot of people when i gave it up. it just wasn’t for me I guess.
I can fit my fist into my mouth lol is that a talent?
I have small hands though so it’s not really all that amazing.

@Mimoza: I certainly hope I do 😛 Writing is one, both in English and Russian. I am slightly better in Russian. I need to move back there and find a job. I am a great cook and baker, I can do make-up really well (I just choose not to), and I have a knack for getting at the root of a problem and creating action plans to solve them. I have some other talents but they are X rated so only MrPanda99 gets to know! 😀

i sing. really well. if i were more comfortable on stage, i’d have it made.
i also seem to be a jack of many artistic trades, and master of none. i can very slowly play piano (reallly slow, i stop to count where the notes are on the sheet music and match it to the keys). i can play chords on guitar, but i can’t pick worth a damn. i can crochet two types of stitches and nothing more. i can’t knit a scarve and nothing more. i can draw what i’m looking at, but i can’t draw from my imagination. i can write fanfic, but i can’t create my own characters.

My talent is that I can say all 50 states in alphbetical order in 15 seconds! Awesome talent, huh?!! LOL! 🙂

I play the cello. Used to play in the Seattle youth symphony years ago. I also am ok at guitar and banjo. I like to dabble lots of stuff, but I’m not very good at any of them (i.e. tile work, wood work, croqueting, sewing, working on cars, writing music…) I think my attention span is too short. Or I get to a point where I don’t get any better and give up.

I can regurgitate things I swallow. I don’t puke or anything, I can just hold things in the back of my throat. I bet I could do a goldfish, but I wouldn’t want to. Not the most useful “talent”.

@DaneLady: I literally snorted my coffee at your last sentence. Thanks. Did I mention I’m a perpetual clown? Involuntary, of course. So now, thanks to you, I just gave my coworkers another reason to laugh at me. 😛
@CarpefnDiem: Well, I think if you can write poems you could write an awesome song. Not sure of what your style is like – but most songs today just focus on being catchy which means their content is garbage. So I know you’d write an awesome heartfelt/comic song (depending on your style).
@sarahuccs: Look at you! That’s awesome 🙂
@stardustintheeyes: Oh man. I am so sorry 🙁 I typed out a question before reading your story but I won’t ask it. Singing is a beautiful talent & brings joy to so many people.
And HAAA @the fist thing. I think it is lol.

I’m really quite a good drummer. I’m also capable of writing professionally and am good at graphic design.
I’m a lot less competent at certain crafty things though. Knitting is slow and wobbly, I can’t crochet around corners and I couldn’t begin to ice a cake that wouldn’t be worthy of Cake Wrecks.
