Hmm I wish we had eloped and spent all the money on a ridiculous honeymoon. The wedding was fun, but when I think back on all the amazing adventures that $$ could have bought…yeah. I think eloping would have been great!

I ABSOLUTELY wish we didn’t spend as much as we did on our centerpieces. They were about $40 each and it just seemed so stupid.

You can do so many cute things for so much cheaper:

My Dress – I love it but if I had really thought it out, I would have bought something for 1/4 of the price off the rack in a department store. It’s only a dress for one day…I’m going to sell it as soon as I can so another bride can enjoy it…

@Aquaria:  I’m still planning but I regret buying my jewelry too early and then rebuying another set because it didn’t work with my dress.  The stupidest thing about it is that I’d already bought my dress when I bought gold jewelry and then realized all the beading was silver and looked odd with gold.  I keep reminding myself not to get carried away and buy things too early…but I do anyway 🙂

@Aquaria:  I want to say the flowers, but they were only $200 for 5 HUGE centerpieces I arranged!

But we’re both super happy that we decided to have a much smaller luncheon and use some of the 10K we saved to have an awesome honeymoon!

decorations…. half them didn’t work out or we didn’t end up using. i spent 150 bucks on manzanita branches that are now sitting in my shed because they didn’t work out for centerpieces. i ended up getting fake sunflowers from hobby lobby last minute and putting them in mason jars and everyone thought they were really cute. no one cares as much as we do.

I honestly have no regrets. We thought we would that last week bc so many payments were due and so many people were dropping out after we had given our final payment but I regret nothing now!

Well we had a planned DW elopement so it was all worth it.  But there were no linens, centerpieces, decor to consider.

Just my dress.  I think because everyone else made such a big deal out of it, plus I was tired of trying on dresses, that I just went with it.  Honestly, if I could do it all over again, I’d get a comfy, light sundress that I could dance in.  I got so annoyed with my dress that I cut it off at my reception.

EDIT: For referrence, my dress was $900
