    @mrs_pugetsound:  what did you get?

    I have a strawberry tatooed on my lower belly towards the hip. I got it when i was 19, now 27 and i still love it, though the artist did it kind if differently than I wanted and I always regretted accepting his changes. I would love to get a star on the front od my foot or my wrist, but Im scared of getting annything that will show when I’m a “mom” and look awkward in my circle of people…

    I have one tattoo on my right wrist. It’s kinda a starfish. I got it when I was 19. I love it but I regret the person I went with to get it. She wasn’t really good and claimed she couldn’t make my tattoo the way I wanted it. While I do love it I now know there are better tattoo artist out there who actually work with you! I’m looking forward to my next tattoo, it will be a day of the dead mermaid from La Loteria.

    I haven’t gotten married yet but I won’t mind my tattoo coming out on my pictures.

    @raspberrymacaron:  We kind of had the same experience with the tattoo artist. I don’t know if it was my 19 year old brain that didn’t realize I could just look for another artist or if I was just too excited and really wanted my tattoo. Either way I still love my tattoo.

    I have nine tattoos and I regret most of them. I blame my mother for not putting her foot down and allowing me to get 4 or 5 between the ages of 16 and 18. I have a giant Le Petit Prince piece on my back and Star Wars tattoos on my feet that I love. I’d love to get rid of the rest.

    Nope, no tatts for me and I’ve never really wanted one. The only type of tattoo that I could picture getting is some kind of memorial should a loved one pass away. I’d never put some random object or quote on my body.

    @LadyX:  Yup, I think the excitement blew me away. It’s not “bad”, but i’m a very simple person and wanted the simplest tatoo, and he made it more funky and colorful than I wanted. I just accepted right away and thought.. “well, he’s the expert…” WRONG. oops.

    Anyway, I love it, just regret the “funkyness” of it a little, if that makes any sense

    I have two and love both of them. Eventually I want to get one more with my son’s date of birth or name on it…

    I have 3 and I am on a waiting list ( a 9 month one for a certain artist !!) for my 4th.

    Each one i designed myself and worked with a tattoo artist to make it happen ! Everyone has a meaning And when I designed the tattoo for each one I had the drawing two years before I brought it to a tattoo artist. I think it all depends on the person, but holding on to an idea and waiting to see how you feel helps. First one I got @18 and I’m 27 and still lOve all of mine 🙂

    I have several tattoos and the only one I regret is one I had done after an ex of mine died unexpectedly. It bothers me that I had it done with his name; my fi has told me many times it doesn’t bother him but it does bother me.  It’s on my shoulder and is the only reason I’m having body makeup for my strapless wedding dress; otherwise I’d have no problem having my other back/shoulder tattoos exposed but I just don’t feel right walking down that aisle with another man’s name burned into my skin.

    @mrs_pugetsound:  I’ve looked into it, but there’s nowhere around here that does it. I regret them because they’re poorly done; I didn’t do enough research, unfortunately. The shop is full of nice guys, don’t get me wrong, but their caliber of work compared to another shop I found is lacking.

    I got really offended last summer when we were at FI’s grandparents’ house on the lake. I love them to death, but his grandpa came up to me and said that one of his relatives does tattoo removal and he could get me a deal. I had to really try not to cry out of anger–I don’t make it well known that I regret my ink unless someone asks, and this was like, he saw them while I was in my bathing suit and made this comment.
