Er....well I got laid off in November, so I have everyday off right now, but at my old job I would have had tomorrow off!
I'd like to get the hours then, but since it's a government agency I'm not sure if I'm 'allowed' to.
There is no way I would have had the day off at my old job - but I do at my new job! WHOOHOO!!! :)
Yes :0) I work for a University and they are closing tomorrow - how nice!
We both work for a government agency, so we'll be hanging out at home tomorrow!
Tomorrow is an office holiday, and I DID have it off, but thanks to the GM bankruptcy I will be in the office all day tomorrow doing something stupid.
Well, I've been unemployed since January, but I don't have class or anything, so I have the day "off" I guess.
I have a 3 day weekend!! Woot Woot! Time to go down and visit the future in-laws. :)
Yay! I'm off tomorrow and my Mom, BM and I are having a whirlwind day of cake tasting. I'm bringing stretchy pants and practicing my Kobayashi shake! (BTW, Kobayashi is a competitive eating champ, for those who care to know. I'm a dork).
I'm working tomarrow, but that's OK by me since I was able to take the day off yesterday and go to Disneyland.
My work is weird so I'll be working tomorrow *SIGH* but thank goodness I have Monday off instead.
@mizunoheaven: Lotsa places consider July 4th a paid holiday. Since it is on a Saturday this year, many places are giving Friday off instead (though it looks like a few are getting Monday off).
/exaggerated sigh... No. We had to work extra hard today since so many other places will be closing tomorrow -- all the government agencies we deal with will be closed, and a lot of the attorneys or smaller lenders we work with are like some dude and his secretary, so they won't be working. But WE must soldier on because someone will die if they can't talk to us about their mortgage on July 3rd! At least we get free bagels in the morning and the strong possibility of getting off a few hours early. My hubby works all weekend, but that means 8 hours worth of holiday pay!
Nope, that is the beauty of being in Sales, HA!!! Hopefully I will be closing some deals and making some Loot!
I'm Canadian, so I wouldn't for holiday reasons. =D I'm working Friday and Saturday. (For comparisons sake, I didn't get Canada Day -- July 1st -- off, or the days before or after.)
oh no. Not off. But T and my son are having a blast goofing off all day..they may even do a tubing trip on a no. georgia shallow river!
I work for my university, so yep, day off. Can't wait to get to our best man's BBQ shindig tomorrow!
I'm off, thank God! I've been out all week due to a hurt back and I went back to work yesterday and it kicked my butt. Unfortunately FI has to work, so I'm home alone.
Yes and I'm going to enjoy this day and treat myself to some time at the gym, shopping and maybe a facial!
I work as a dispatcher for a local electric cooperative (I'm that person that answers the phone when you call in that your power is out) and since I have been working the graveyard shift for the last month, I'll be off in about an hour! yay! I get to spend the day with my family, but not my FI he is living 3 hours away currently doing lab research for school. :(
the only reason i have off tomorrow is bc i've already worked 2 holidays this year (new years day and memorial day) and i'm only supposed to work 3 holidays a year...so more likely than not they'll stick me on xmas eve again...for the 4th year in a row (at diff. jobs)...and i work at Hobby Lobby...a little sac-relig? yea
Oh, Yucky for having to work on such a wonderful day. How was your fishing though?
I'm lucky enough to work Mon-Fri, 8-5 but even then there's a ton of times that I'm working when it seems like the rest of the world isn't.

I didn't work today thankfully. It was nice to take a day off. I wish I had more days off though :(

I took yesterday off to take my FIL fishing, so I definitely am working tomorrow.
