If so do you like it?

I'm planning to switch us over to their TV & Internet. We currently have DSL (sooo slow) through Verizon and DirecTV. The total of both is almost $114 after taxes!

But if I switched to the Verizon FIOS TV & Internet Bundle it'll only be $74.99 pretax. And it'll be a much better internet connection and the only big channel we'll be losing is NFL Network which my husband is OK with.

P.S. I know I can get rid of my TV and watch a ton of shows online and such. But we are way too huge of a sport family to not be able to watch live games. Once games go live online I can cancel TV!

We had FIOS at our last place and we loved it!!!

We moved late January and we can't get FIOS here (they don't want to wire the area), and what we have now sucks and is soooooo sloooooooow in comparison. Go for FIOS!

Other - we used to have Verizon Fios but now we dont have cable. We really did like Verizon Fios while we had it. It was so fast. I loved their TV and the internet was great. However we just got rid of cable all together. Now we have Cox internet (their stand alone internet was cheaper than stand alone internet for Fios) and we have Roku for TV which is internet TV. We love it! However if you are planning to stick with cable I would definitely go with Fios!

same as Bunnybridetobe, I had fios but the new place we will be moving to after the wedding wont have fios. You definitely notice that the fios picture is brighter, clearer and better quality. The internet is faster too

@PitBulLover: We don't have cable TV now, either...we stream Hulu on computers and if we really want to sit in front of the full-size TV we use the XBox to watch Netflix. Our new internet is so much slower than the FIOS, though, and the streaming sometimes pauses mid-movie to re-bufer, which is annoying.

We have Verizon for TV, Internet and Phone, and have been very happy! I have been happy with their customer service, and the services are fast and reliable.  Totally recommend.

We changed from RCN to FiOS as soon as our building was wired.

We LOVE it. The internet is SO fast, the TV is great (picture quality, etc) and there are so many free on demand channels. Plus if you get the package with HBO, Showtime, etc you get all those channels on demand for free.

We have so many movies available on demand that we don't need netflicks or any other video rental service. It'd awesome.

We do also have a Roku for the bedroom tv (which I highly recommend) and just watch the free content that we get by being Amazon Prime members. (Lots of BBC comedies and some older movies)
