Neither colors nor theme.  I truly don’t understand the need for either.  The theme is… we’re getting married!  Do we really need another theme?

we had colors and a vague theme, if “shit that I like and can afford” counts as a theme… wildflowers, barnwood signs, etc.  An actual THEME theme is totally unnecessary but can help some people with their planning of decor.

im getting merried between thanksgiving and Halloween so my theme is avoiding either of those themes like the plague. I do have colours cranberry and gold (think red wine and champagne)

Our wedding colours will be his favourite colour (blue) and my favourite colour (purple) with some white/ivory touches as well. Our wedding theme is based on my favourite hobby that he also enjoys – reading. Our tables will be named after books, we will incorporate books as part of the centerpieces and we will have bookmarks as escort cards 🙂

Our colors are navy, kelly green, and grey/silver for the most part. Basically they work well with the venue and everyone looks good in navy. Our “theme” is more or less me trying to incorporate books here & there. I’m making STDs out of library book borrower cards, and paper flowers for the boutenieres, bouquets, and tables. And it’s sort of Christmas themed, too, because that’s what the venue provides. Haha. Maybe our theme is “shit we can afford”, too.

We have been trying to decide on colors and just can’t. I’ve liked some but can’t visualize it at the venue so I think we will just use all the white linens and chairs they provide instead of bringing in color. I love the cleanest of the all white but still feel a bit unsettled due to a sunset wedding

I feel if we don’t pick colors and do all white it will look too plan or like we didn’t put in the effort but I feel no need to create a theme

Colors – burgundy, champagne, with gold accents.

Kind of ironic since we don’t drink alcohol!

We picked some colors just to make selecting linens, etc. easier, but no theme. The theme is wedding.

@Katyxa:   We sort of have colors – I let my “Best Woman” choose her dress and she chose a lovely cobalt color.  So the Best Man will wear a cobalt vest.   I’d like the centerpieces to be similar colors in different flowers, but haven’t made a final choice in that yet.

Our colors were aqua and fire engine red (DH’s favorite color and a color I really like)

We had a very traditional wedding, but no theme per se!

Vintage 1920’s glamour theme! Colors are gold and emerald with a hint of blush! I love vintage theme and so does my fiancé so it’s perfect for us!
