I try to avoid it, but I don’t freak out if it happens. Our dog has some stank breath so it’s not super pleasant getting a bunch of kisses from her.

It grosses me out, so I avoid it. Like a PP said though, it’s not like I have a meltdown if my dog licks my face. I just prefer her to not!

Our dog eats poop, so no I do not let her lick my face. If she happens to do it, I don’t freak out though or get upset with her, but I definitely wash that ish off ASAP.

@MichiganGirl24:  haha every morning I go to let my baby out of her kennel, she walks out, does a big stretch then she jumps up and puts her paws around my waist and I give her a big hug while she licks my cheek. I love puppy kisses. Shes a husky/lab/collie cross, and about a year old. 🙂

Eh,not really. I have a shih Tzu pomeranian mix and he licks everything and sometimes its my face. I’ll be trying to get gunk out of his eye or whatever and he’ll get me. I just tell him “no”. I get enough licks on the hand, the foot, the leg lol he licks the carpet, the comforter, himself of course! Lol

    he gets lots of hugs!!!

however,I did give my old dog kisses. But she was perfect and no one can compare:) Rip Chica

I avoid it if possble…they lick their butts.  No thanks.  My FI, on the other hand, lets them go to town on his face.  No kisses for him after.

Yes.  My dog is very small and does not have stinky breath luckily.  So his licks, I don’t mind at all.  If I had a bigger dog with very slobbery licks, I probably would try to avoid it if possible.  I love getting kisses from my little doggy.  🙂

No, I find it gross.  They lick their own butts and sometimes eat poop.  I don’t want that anywhere near my face. And the dog will not be licking any future babies’ faces either.  That bugs the crap out of me but I’m sure it’s hard to catch it all the time but still…it grosses me out.

I let mine kiss my face. I wasn’t planning to when we got her, but she’s such a sweet, affectionate girl! She’s also a very large golden retriever and I probably wouldn’t be able to stop her anyway, hehe. (she had just eaten a bunch of peppers from the garden in this photo)

I have two dogs, one, I love kisses from (shes a cute little fluff ball), the other…not so much (She’s a big staffie cross). It’s only because, my little pup can’t drown me in one lick, while the other can (plus I’m allergic to the bigger one, oops? lol). But I love my pups just equally, and trust me, that’s a lot of love! haha

I also accept kisses from my cats! They both lick quite a bit. Lol I always wake up covered in cats.

I try not to. Once in a while he sneaks it though! Grosses me out. Love him though 🙂
