Here is a map I’ve drawn for someone. I’m waiting to hear back if she likes it, wants any changes or decides she doesn’t want it after all, all thogether. Oh no, I hope not. I hope she likes it. What do you think. Would you feel comforatble including this with your invites?

It’s really cute! I do, however, find it a little confusing :-/ Oh I get it! It’s directions from the ceremony to reception! Sorry, a little slow there. I thought it was a cute insert that just sort of mapped out significant places/landmarks in their relationship.

I know that PROOF and the lines would be gone, but is “Watsonville” part of the invite? That’s the only thing that looks a little busy to me. Maybe you could change the placement of that? Also, does the venue at the top really say “Corralitos Garage Hell”? lol, maybe I’m misreading.
It’s not really my style but it’s well done.

It’s cute but it doesn’t seem to be very useful. I don’t mean that to be mean, I just, as someone who has no idea where that is, wouldn’t be able to follow it very well for directional purposes.

I think its cute! But I do agree that the Watsonville overlapping with other things makes it harder to read.
ditto, the ‘watsonville’ is a tad distracting..
OP: is it possible to move it? In one of my map making classes the director was adamant that text should always be parallel to the horizontal edges of the page–he said it made it clearer easier to read, and less confusing to those reading the maps.
Although I get if there is supposed to be a touch of whimsy. It’s certainly cute though.
I find it a bit confusing as well (I have no idea where the reference points are and as a guest I would be scouring google maps & adding destinations to my Garmin GPS).
OP: I’m in no way trying to be mean either, just trying to give you a little feedback. With a few tweaks I think it would definitely be okay.

Thank you bees. She did say that the invite was going to inculde typed directions and not to worry about every little turn.
@kala_way: It say Grange, lol. Maybe I’ll make that a little more clear.
I’ll post a new proof when it’s done to see what you think then.

Okay round 2, feedback please.

Much better! This is much easier to read.

Second one is much better and looks very nice.

So cute! Want to make one for me? 😉
That’s amazing … i realllly love it!

I like the second one a lot more, but something about the shadow effect hurts my eyes a bit.

2nd one is so much clearer, but i agree – the shadow hurts my eyes too.

2nd one is so cute! First was too cluttered.
Though it might need something in the middle now. lol
