Well, actually, I like jerky. My FI makes it from pig, turkey, and deer that he shoots. That stuff is good. I don't really have an opinion on the beef kind.
Beef jerky isn't actually that bad of a snack! (I just had some today, haha). One stick of jerky has 45 calories and 3 grams of protein. Just realllly salty though. I like it :)
@ lilyfaith - I know there are a lot of vegetarians on here, so I had to do it! ;)
@ monita - Pork jerky sounds good! I love pork :)
@ Blueshoes - The calorie content is pretty low, but the sodium is through the roof!
@ bree - I am a very random person lol. I was eating jerky and I thought to myself...
So my husband and I started talking because of beef jerky.
I had seen him around some and been introduced because he was sometimes in our lab and we had a class together but we never really talked.
Before our second class, kinda small like 12 people, everyone was talking and I was like I have the strangest craving for beef jerky right now, I'm going to have to go buy some tonight.
My husband pulls out of his pocket.......beef jerky and gave me some. So everyone thought that was hilarious that 1) I was randomly craving it and 2) why did he have beef jerky in his pocket. But it broke the ice and several years later we got married.
So long story short, even though we're mainly veggie eaters nowadays, I still like me some beef jerky.

i LOVE beef jerky.
one of my mom's friends used to make homemade jerky.... SOOO GOOOD.

It really depends on the kind of jerky. I like beef jerky mostly, but it has to be thicker and softer. I also like the teriyaki flavor too. 
I'm really surpised at how many of you like it. I was halfway expecting to get yelled at lol.
FI thinks it's the weirdest thing ever, but I love it. I used to eat it with my dad when I was a kid.
