@lovelypinky40:  Theyre beautiful!!! Mine are from Things Remembered as well! We got them as a gift. They are the ones where the stems look like a wedding dress and tuxedo in mother of pearl. They have the most beautiful stuff in that store!!!

They aren’t my taste, but that’s just me.  If you and your FI like them (would he be OK with something blingy like that?) than go for it!

ETA:  I do really like the way it looks like petals on the bottom.  It’s pretty!

A little too much for me.. but I prefer things that are a bit more simple/ classic, so we probably just have different taste.

If you like them, it’s your wedding, so go for it!

I like them, but I’m not sure my FI would. I’m not sure I imagine him drinking from that glass either, but that’s just my taste. If your FI likes them, go for it.

Wow gorgeous! I love them but I’m biased bc I’m generally a fan of all things blingy!

They aren’t really my taste, either. Especially if you’re on a budget–$350 could buy at least two dinners, and that’s if you REALLY go all out. (It could buy ten at my wedding, and that’s plated with steak!)

If you have don’t have to worry about money, though, get them if you love them! I’d want to see them in person first, though.

Here’s the thing. They are pretty, yes, but YOU WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. They will sit in a cabinet collecting dust.

$350 invested in an IRA or 401k with average returns will yield almost $90,000 in 35 years.

Which do you think you will get more use out of – blingy glasses you use once, or $$$$ in retirement?
