I think the skirt is cute but I’m not loving the top, tbh. I think something with more of a scoop neck would look great on you!

Yeah I’m not digging the top but the skirt is cute. It almost seems to business like.

I agree with PP, needs a different top. Also, maybe one that doesn’t go down over the skirt, so that your waistline is more defined. I would also wear a cute necklace or something with it.

I love the skirt! It’s adorable but the top isn’t right with it. I do believe a scoop neck would look better with it, one without a texture to it. Something like a silky came or tank. Then you can throw a cardigan over it if you need a little more coverage or warmth. For accessories, I would do chunky jewelry that go with the color of the skirt.

Where did you get that skirt?

I honestly don’t like that top with this outfit. The skirt is really cute though. The top would look better with a nice pair of jeans or something.

I love both pieces, but maybe not together…did you try tucking in your shirt? That may be the difference. 🙂

You look super cute in that skirt! I think the pic might be missing some of the sequin detailing! I agree with a pp, try tucking in the shirt and wearing a big chunky necklace.

Another idea – keep shirt untucked and try belting a skinny red or black belt at your natural waist over the skirt.

MUAbride2be:  I have to agree that the shirt just doesn’t “go with” the skirt. I ADORE the skirt, though!

I agree with the others. I think a different top would flatter you much more with that skirt. Goodluck and congrats! Have fun at your shower:]!!

I like the suggestion of a tank top with a cardigan over it instead of going with the sequin top. That would suit the style of the skirt better.

Try a tucked in top with a wide waist belt, I think that would look great with the skirt and would really flatter your figure.

I like both pieces as well, but not toget her. Think about a solid colored blouse (maybe one of the wedding colors) and shoes to match. Polka dots rock with solid colors. Try one with a scoop neck like one of the bees suggested.
