Inspired by another post. I love water. I could drink it all day, but I know some people absoloutely hate it. I'm curious to know...where do you stand?
I'll be honest, I'm not a HUGE fan but I don't hate it.
I don't really like pop or juice either so I dunno... maybe I just don't like hydration?
But I do drink a lot of water.
I loooooove water! A big glass of ice water is maybe my favorite drink ever. lol
I do. I'm a weird one though. I like it, and I like it room temperature.
All of the girls in my office are water fanatics... they have the mini water-cooler bottles with handles and freeze them halfway, filling up over and over again during the day. It's like a cult! :)
I love it, but it has to be cold. Lukewarm water just doesn't quench my thirst for some reason.
If I don't drink it for a day or so, I crave it!!! I love me a big glass of ice cold water!!
In a perfect world where everything was equally healthy I would drink coke all day long and probably almost never drink water. But I know water is important so I make sure to drink my 8 cups/day. I don't mind it. I find it much much easier to drink at room temperature though.
I could take it or leave it. I drink it because its good for me and it's what I have at the office. But once I'm home I tend to drink more juices and sodas (bad!). But at least the majority of my day is water.
I love water! I drink it all day long at my desk. Like .twist., I love it at room temperature.
I don't like plain water-I need some kind of flavor. But coffe, tea and soda are mostly water so I'm good:)
I love water. Usually I would rather drink water than anything else. We normally dont have anything in our fridge except milk, water and OJ.
I used to hate water, but after I stopped drinking all soda and most juice, water is pretty much the only thing that I can drink now, and I find that it's the only thing that doesn't give me a gross aftertaste. However, it has to be at room temperature, or even luke warm. When I fill up my bottle from our Poland Spring cooler, I have to put some hot water in it as well to warm it up, lol. Weird, I know!
Now that I had to give up all other beverages including juices, soda and alcohol due to health reasons, water is the only thing I drink. Good thing I love it! I easily drink two liters a day. Alkaline water is supposed to better for me so I carry my Fiji bottle everywhere.
@hilsy85: I saw you posted a similar response to mine. Was yours for health reasons too? I have interstitial cystitis which requires me to have an extremely limited diet.
I drink plain filtered water because that's what you're supposed to do, but if I had a choice I'd drink sparkling water all day. Plain water bores me. I've learned that the easiest way for me to get my 8 cups is to use this GIANT 32-oz plastic cup that I got from a local BBQ restaurant (one of those reusable ones), fill it to the brim in the morning, then sip all day. I only need two of those to get my daily water ration :)
I love water. I drink like a gallon or two of it a day. I prefer it cool but not cold, and even when I am drinking another beverage, I always drink water, too.
now my water bottle is empty again, and I need to go to the bathroom. ah, side effects.
@meliss: No, not really any health reasons...although, I went to the dentist in nov. 2009 and was told that I had EIGHT cavities, so that kind of freaked me out and I went on a no-candy-soda-or-juice kick (even though I had only ever drank diet soda, never the regular stuff). My DH also hates soda and only drinks OJ, which I don't like, so we never have it in the house. And once I went a few months without drinking it, I really didn't miss it at all and now find it kind of gross tasting.
@CorgiTales: Completely agree. For some reason I love drinking soda. I have tried to quit more times than I can count but I can't. I do limit myself to one or two sodas a day and then drink water the rest of the time.
I really only drink water at restaurants or at home if I can pull it out of the freezer and drink it as it melts. I much prefer diet coke to water any day.
I drink a TON of Crystal Light Peach Tea throughout the day. I will usually drink just one glass of plain water if I can do it, and it must be room temperature.
I'm pretty sure my body is like 70% crystal light. :)
It's taken some time, but I learned to love water.
Now my body typically craves it - but there are days I have to force myself to drink it (especially on days I start off drinking too much coffee!)
I especially like water with lime in it.... yum!
I love room temperature water. It's usally what I drink at most places because I'm caffeine sensative.
I can't get enough of it. I rarely drink anything else, especially when I am eating. Mr. Hedgie will drink it when we are at restaurants but when at home he usually adds flavor. Not because he doesn't like it, but because it is "boring" to him. I don't understand NOT likeing something flavorless....
I didn't even know it was possible to hate water. Not loving it I get, but hate? Isn't it kind of a requirement of life? Wouldn't that be like, I hate breathing?
I love water! I've always liked it and my preference is room temperature. Sometimes in winter I just drink hot water - not tea - just hot water.
I would drink only pop if I could!
I don't hate water but I don't love it either. It's just kind of plain and boring to me. But I definitely prefer it cold to room temp.
I love water! I am not a soda drinker, never really have been, so it's just my go-to drink. The other things I'll sometimes drink are mostly water-based as well, like tea, coffee, or juice.
Plain water is just so blah, but I do drink it (I have to on occasion) but what I really hate is Pellegrino/Perrier or any other sparkling water. Flavorless bubbles. Ugh!
On a side note: I also hate Evian. It's so flat and I never understood the appeal. Poland Spring is decent for the price but Fiji and Voss are the best. IMO, that is:)
I hate water but I know I have to drink it.
I am a milk lover. If Im hung over or just super thirsty, I gotta get my big ole' glass of skim milk!
I love it!! I need to get back into the habit of drinking more of it, though.
Blech. I don't like it. : (
I have gotten better, though -- when I'm at a restaurant where they give you ice water, I usually just stick with that instead of ordering a pop (it's also cheaper! : D), but I NEVER drink it at home.
I love water and drink it all day long, both at work and home. But is has to be cold. I don't like the taste of water that isn't cold!
