I’d never heard of people drinking egg nog cold. Growing up, we always drank it hot. It is a winter drink, after all. But everyone I’ve talked to in Southern California seem surprised when I mention drinking it hot. I’m originally from the south, maybe that has something to do with it. What say you?

@christineandjohn: Cold, unless it’s in an eggnog latte:)

I like it both ways!!! Cold sans booze and hot if it has been spiked with brandy or espresso!

Cold, spikeed with rum or vodka.

Had no idea it could be hot…., I like it cold with amaretto or kaluah

I usually will have some for the sake of tradition, and I sometimes like eggnog flavored things, but I don’t particularly care for it. Hot or cold doesn’t make much of a difference.

COLD!!!! I just had some with brandy; it was delicious! I always “cut” my eggnog with milk, though…

Cold with spiced rum added.mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Cold, if it all. I also cut it with skim milk b/c it is way too thick for me. I seriously cannot imagine drinking it hot though, For some reason I keep picture it getting chunky haha.

Oh my god I’ve never even thought of heating it up! Must do this

@christineandjohn: Huh… I’ve never heard of anyone drinking it warm even though it’s a winter drink for me as well.

Both ways but i prefer it hot. Highly recommend trying a Cheg latter from starbucks(it;s not officially on the menu). It’s a Chai Tea latte but made with eggnog instead of milk.
My pref. is half sweet, reduced fat Cheg latte – since eggnog is already sweet, do full sweet Chai would be to much IMO.
