Oh, I totally agree!  It’s very grounding and relaxing.  I think I get a nice feeling of accomplishment out of it too.

@Payless:  You would have a ball with the meal I made tonight… TONS of slicing and prepping! All the veggies had to be cut into matchsticks 🙂

The answer to this question is no.  No, I do not.

I actually just love eating.

Wow, NO, I am the complete opposite of you all. My husband makes 95% of our dinners in, and when I’m alone (like tonight) I either eat leftovers or string cheese / steamed veggies / random shit out of the fridge. Or just wine 😉

Right now I do!

I’m also not working while we’re expecting baby #1.

But when I was working 60 hours a week and in the very near future when we’ll have a newborn, I’m willing to bet I’ll like it a lot less!

I have been unemployed for the six months since my graduation, but am supposed to start my new job on Monday (fingers crossed!! I won’t believe it til it happens….)

At first, I HATED doing dinner, but of course it was my responsibility since DH works 60 hour weeks.  However, in the last couple months I have gotten more into finding new recipes and testing them out, and have found myself enjoying it.

BUT once I start work, I know there’s no way in hell I will want to go shopping, prep and cook dinner after getting off a full day of work, so I have no idea how that will work out :-/

@Payless:  No lol 🙂 i do all of the cooking but I feel like a lot of my dislke for prep comes from my schedule..I do all the cooking and I also work full time and usually go to both the gym and grocery store after work so its all a mad rush to get it done before 8 pm lol 🙂

I do really enjoy cooking tho! Just on the weekends when I actually have time haha

I dislike prep – but the actual cooking part I LOVE. Throwing ingredients together and making magic happen is awesome. But yeah, I could do without the slicing and marinating. I would like for that part to be magic too and just happen on its own.

@Andthepupmakes3:  Holy moley, that looks good. I’ll have to stash the recipe and make it sometime.

Ugh no.  I’m also really slow when it comes to cutting up veggies/fruit.
