I love my job! I am a product manager and I love what I do. I feel like I get to be creative and strategic and I feel a real sense of accomplishment about what I do.

@Amayansong:  Love my job. I am a law clerk (in between a legal assistant and paralegal). I love what I do and work with/for some great people. That being said, some people would loathe what I do. There are some things that some people love doing but would hate.

Perhaps you feel like you are stuck in a rut … as in the honeymoon period is over. I think that everyone gets that sometimes. Is there any way you can change up what you do?

I love my job (working in clinical research), but you’d have to do ~9 years of school (through a PhD internship) to do it, so don’t choose it! Haha. I’m still in graduate school.

I adore my job. I’m on the international marketing team at a software company, and not only do I work with the most amazing people ever, I also do something new and creative just about every day, including designing email layouts, coming up with trade show giveaways, helping brainstorm large scale campaigns etc. etc. etc. Yes, there are some less glamorous everyday tasks that have to get done as well, and it also requires you to be super organized and multitask like a madman, but I wouldn’t want to do anything else.

@Amayansong:  I’m a legal assistant and I feel very…meh…about it. I don’t HATE my job, and it does not stress me out in the least. The pay is also fairly good so I am satisfied with it. I have never had that attitude of my work is my life. Rather, I work for the sole purpose of being able to enjoy every single moment when I am NOT at work….so in other words, for the money. Work is a minor annoyance that I have to deal with in order to be able to live the kind of life I want in my own personal time. When 4:30 hits I am outta the office like a scalded cat and not once does my job cross my mind again until I show up the next day.

I love what I do, but I’m not crazy about where I work. I’m an event planner for our local county government. Got the job within 6 months of graduating in the field I studied so I can’t complain too much.

I would say that I really like my job. I don’t LOVE it – but only because I wish I were doing something slightly different – which may happen in a few months, if I’m lucky.

I am an animator for video games. I’ve been on the game I’m working on for over three years now, and I can’t wait to see it finished. It will be really good, and really funny, but MAN am I tired of changing things 1,000 times. 😛

I love that I get to roll in sometime between 9:30 – 10, take lunch anytime between 12-2, and leave around 6:30 – 7 (when we’re not in crunch). I like the later days because I’m definitely not a morning person, so it works out perfectly for me. We also don’t have a dress code (jeans and t-shirt all day everyday!), and we don’t have to clock in or record our time. It’s salaried, so it’s basically honor system for your time. We can also leave at any time if we need to address something personal, as long as we make up the time.

The only thing they require is hard work. 🙂

OH. And I get paid to make video games for a living. That’s awesome, too.

Retail manager.  NOTHING worse than retail.  I hate my job so much as well, everyday is worse than the last so basically everyday is the worst day of my life (stole that line from the movie Office Space, lol)  I have a bachelors in elementary education K-6 but I just can not be a teacher, I discovered that too little too late my senior year of college.  I want to go back to school but I dont know what I want to do.  🙁

@Amayansong:  I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE my job! I am an emergency room RN, and I am so thrilled to go into work. I see something new everyday, and the time flies. These people really need me. And, I have like a bazillion days off since I only work 3 days a week.
