I got a 3rd ring for Christmas (so 3 months after the wedding):
I got 2 at the wedding. One is a family heirloom. Not sure if it still counts....
@KatNYC2011: always love your set!
I voted for the first- although I don't know if I'll be able to handle both an e-ring and a wedding band... rings make my fingers feel claustrophobic.
Never! I very much like the tradition of exactly two rings to symbolize the marriage...the engagement ring and the wedding ring...each in ther usual place (left ring finger, wedding band on the inside). Exactly two, no more, no less! Love that traditional look. It says marriage to me in a way no other arrangement does.
Now as for my other hand... well there I can go crazy :)
I'm getting a third ring when I give birth. I'm calling it my 'mother's ring' since I hate the term 'push present'! I'm asking for a moissanite eternity band.
I don't have a third ring yet, but I am thinking of one for my 10th anniversary.
I actually have a rose gold band as a spacer (like KatNYC2011's set) but I would like an anniversary band for our first anniversary or a push present.
@CaptainSpaulding: OMG +1000. I hate that term I think more than any other I have ever heard!!
OP: I definitely want three rings. Depending on what I end up choosing as a wedding band (eg how $$$) I will either get the second one immediately or wait til an anniversary. Hope that helps! :)

This is the set FI got me, we asked the jeweler about getting a 3rd ring to have on the wedding day and were ASTOUNDED by the price. ....So we're putting it off until 1st or 5th anniversary depending on our finances and it's availability!
I am not sure yet. I have been toying with the idea of getting a second wedding band to have soldered to my engagement ring. That way when I just want to wear my wedding band I have it to wear, if I want to just wear a wedding band and e-ring I have the soldered set, or if I want to be all fancy a I could wear all three!
But considering I just got my reset e-ring like two weeks ago I am not really planning another ring at this time.
I got two thin half eternity bands at our ceremony. I am currently having my ering re-set (should be in a few weeks, I am so antsy!), so I am not sure if my bands will go with the new setting. I hope so, because they are special to me. But if they look bad (the diamond quality is much better on my new setting than the bands), I will get a matching band or two. Then I will probably move my original bands to my right hand.
No I don't think I will, I've never seen it done here in the UK x
I had never even heard of a push present o.O
I have a solitair engagement ring, and a yellow gold and platinum band. For a big anniversary I'd consider a small diamond band to stack on top of my other rings to add a little more sparkle. :)
I got my third a couple weeks after we got married. My mother gave me the original WR my father gave her when the eloped in 1960. :) It's the bottom ring in the picture.
I got a half eternity band for our 10th anniversary. I don't stack it with my e-ring or wedding ring. If anything I wear it on it's own or on my right hand.
Yep! Here is my current stack, we have been considering another amethyst band..:
We upgraded my entire set for our 1year wedding anniversary. Which was 3 years of being together.
I haven't gotten another one, although my husband did get me a gorgeous diamond solitaire necklace for our first christmas together. I would like another band at some point, but I'm thinking more like a push gift or big anniversary (5, 10 year) rather than anything too soon.
I defintely want a ring when i become a mommy, which in my opinion is when I get pregnant one day...lets all make a commitment to stop using the term "push" lol
I like the idea for getting a ring for becoming a fiance, a wife and finally a mommy...
I see that this is a several-months'-old thread that I apparently missed the first time around. I have an anniversary band that I received between my second and third anniversaries. I originally planned to wear it like this, and did for more than a year:

However, I subsequently have decided that I much prefer it at the bottom of my ring stack, like this:

I still sometimes just wear my e-ring and wedding band, however.

Hello bees! I made a poll on here but I wasn't very clear when I asked about eternity/semi-eternity rings woops.
My first wedding anniversary is coming up and I'm just curious to know the stats on when people got thir/plan to get an anniversary band. So far none of my friends have got a ring for their first year anniversary and I'm not sure if I'll get another ring for my left hand or a stacker for my right.
Please vote which applies! Cheers!
