I couldn't decide between up or down so I'm going in between.
I would love a romantic updo to keep the hair our of my face and off my neck, but my FI is pretty insistent that it is mostly down. He thinks my hair is beautiful and that I look better with it free-flowing (probably because I wear it up almost every day).
I wanted to wear mine half/up down (FI likes it better down...) but it would take away from the neckline (vneck and deep v back) of my dress, so am wearing it up, but in a low chignon a la Mrs. Birds of Paradise / Mrs. Tiramisu.

I have very long hair and usually wear it down. I don't want to look very different than my normal self so I am wearing it all down (and husband-to-be prefers it that way...) I've never worn my hair up for a formal even so i didn't really consider anything other than hair down for my wedding.
I wanted to look different from my usual self so I had an updo. Also, I knew it would be really hot so if I left my hair down, it would have gotten all stringy and gross.
I'm planning to do a low chignon as well. So up, but not the traditional "updo"!
I vote down for right now, but that could change. I just don't want prom hair! :)
We're getting married on the beach which means wind! I choose an updo to avoid any hair sticking to my lips!
Also, FI loves when I wear my hair up so that helped!

I don't like wearing my hair up because I have a chubby face, so I knew that I wanted to wear my hair down.... or rather half up on my wedding day. How did you decide on your wedding day hairstyle?
