As an adult woman, I sometimes feel silly about playing video games. I feel like only guys are suppossed to love them. Does anyone else play video games on a regular basis?
Just for reference, I play iPhone games (angry birds, etc), Harry Potter Legos Game on PSVito, Mario Brothers on Wii, Final Fantasy on PSVito, etc

No, and neither does Fiance. Thank goodness.

Yes. Both options. A lot. Especially when I’m not in school…
SO loves that I do, except for when I do… because then I ignore him…. Lol

@Lindsay05: Now I’m going to look it up.
By The Way – I should note that Darling Husband is more of a system game addict. He often plays on his computer rather than his phone. I go through phases.

I play games on my phone a lot. Mostly temple run, sometimes angry birds. I don’t ever play computer games and I don’t ever play console games alone, but I do enjoy playing console games with my husband sometimes. But just easy/stupid ones like Mario. I tried to play COD with him, like really was genuinely trying my best, and I was soooo bad lol.
I don’t have anything against games though. I can see the appeal but I never really played them growing up so I feel like I have no base skill level and honestly I’m just too bad to have any fun playing most games now and don’t have a big interest in trying to learn.

@Rouquine: I started playing it while nursing my Dirty Delete cause I can play it one handed.

Neither of us are crazy gamers, but we both do play. We’ve got some games on each of our phones. He’s got a PS3 that he uses, and I’ve got a Wii and a DS that I use mostly when traveling. I also play the Sims on my laptop.
We do play together sometimes, but we have very different tastes in games. Neither of us plays much, maybe once a week. It’s the kind of thing where if we’re having a lazy Saturday, he’ll play his playstation, while I sim. It doesn’t affect our relationship at all.

Fiance and I are both gamers, though I am more hardcore than him. We like playing together in the same room lol. I like RPGs, he prefers strategy games like Civilization. We also play card games, specifically Magic and Dominion.

Neither one of us are hardcore gamers. I used to only play games on my iPhone, but then FH bought Skyrim, and I play that now that the semester is over, but it’s pretty much the only PS3 game I play and I don’t play all the time.
ETA: We don’t play together. He’s usually sitting in the same room with me if I’m playing Skyrim, and vice versa.

My new favorite iPhone game is Order Up! My husband just got an Xbox for his birthday and he loves it. Right now he only has two games, NBA 2k13 and Battlefield 3. When I was a kid I had a Nintendo 69 (that’s what it was called right) and I was obsessed with playing Mario Kart. Nothing compared in my head anymore. I also had a Gameboy and would play a Speedy Gonzales game that I could never beat the first level on. After that i was a Tamagatchi purist.

@Azalea_Bee: I think statistically, more guys do pay them, but a lot of girls do too.
Personally I like alot of things that only guys are supposed to like, watching sports, sci fi, action movies, burgers, math, etc. We don’t have to limit our interests based on gender, feel free to have it all!

I only play Super Mario Bros 3 on Wii because I don’t really understand how to play most new games. We are not a video game household, the Fiance and I went through a phase where we played Wii sports with each other but we actually haven’t touched the Wii in a year. If we’re at the airport, we’ll play Words with Friends on our iPads, but that’s the only time we play computer games as well.
