Hi! I love cushion cuts (square over elongated) though I do find elongated cushion and ovals stunning. When talking to a jeweler he explained that oval is the 2017 shape!

Personally, I knew that a cushion was my favorite but I would strongly recommend that you try different rings on, they look so different on than in the case or on others’ fingers, it depends on your finger, hand, etc.

My ring arrived yesterday. It’s a NEO moissy, 2 carat, G-H color with side baguettes. Purchased from HJollywoodDesigns. Not wearing yet 🙂 but so thrilled with its classic look, it’s going to be so hard to be patient!!!

Depends on your fingers. Please post pics of the stones/rings on your fingers. You also might not have a question anymore once you see that.

I looooooved cushions (it was my dream stone since 2011) but I have an oval. I love the oval, tbh! It gives more coverage than a cusion (18% more surface area on top).  I also have long fingers so it really fits my hand.

I love both!! When it comes to cushions though I only like them when their elongated and have that crushed ice look. With ovals I like them to be long and skinny!

Oval will give you more coverage.

    Cushions face up smaller.

Personally i love the old cut cushions with chunky facets. That what I have. I prefer them more to the modern or crushed ice cushions.

I don’t know what your budget is but jewels by grace just posted a cracker on her Facebook page yesterday. New in.

I love my cushion cut. We added a double halo but the center stone is 1.5ct. Ring size is 6.25

I LOVE them both! But I went with an Antique Cushion Cut because I love the chunky facets. It’s still being set, but here is the stone. I’m a size 6 finger as well, stone is 7.5mmy 2.2 carat equivalent.

I love both but I prefer elongated shapes, so oval wins against a square cushion, but an elongated cushion would win over an oval for me 🙂 My ring is an emerald cut so I’m kind of biased 😉

I LOVE cushions! (I’m biased though since I have one). I always knew i wanted one but made sure to still try on other shapes at the jeweler. Mine is 1.54 ct but actually faces up a little larger around 1.74 ct and my ring size is 4.75.
