I prefer packing. Mainlybecause once I get to the unpacking part, I’m over it and just want to be done already haha.

I just moved and I detest them both equally in that situation. Like loathe. Hate so much I want to die.

HOWEVER, if I’m going on vacay I looooooove packing because I am usually packing dresses and bathing suits in the dead of winter and it makes me so excited. And then I hate unpacking when I get home cuz everything is sandy/chloriney/dirty and I’m exhausted.

Packing definitely. Perhaps that’s why 7 months after I moved in with FH I still haven’t unpacked everything… lol

I prefer packing a suitcase because it means we are going on a holiday! & I prefer unpacking boxes as it means we are moving into a new place!

Packing. I’m really bad at unpacking and by the time it’s time to unpack I’m already over the moving process that it sometimes takes forever to get things done. I’ve moved 4 times in the last two years, been living in my current house for 1 year and I STILL have boxes that aren’t unpacked Embarassed

I dislike both.  But with moving, I’d rather unpack because it is (kind of) fun to organize a new place that you are excited about.

Ha! I always thought I was weird for having a preference. I’m fine with packing but HATE unpacking. It shows during chores, too. I load the dishwasher happily but make FI unload it. We do the same thing with groceries.

For moves, unpacking. For vacations, however, I love packing.

Packing for sure! I enjoy picking out what I want to wear and folding it all nicely and making it fit in the suitcase. I HATE unpacking. I don’t want to have to put everything away when I get back, I want to relax.

For moving it’s the opposite. If I’m moving then I just want to get there and set everything up and put everything away. I love organizing!

If I had to pick just one, I would choose unpacking.

Packing means you are leaving a home that you love. It also means you still have a lot of work ahead of you.

Unpacking means you are starting fresh, and each box brings you one step closer to the end of the work.

I like packing better, because towards the end of it I just start throwing crap into random boxes.  Then when it comes time to unpack, I have to decide what to do with everything.  UGH!

Eh, I dislike both, but I would much rather pack. I dread unpacking whenever we come home from a vacation.
