That is a great question. I was just thinking about it this week so I'm looking forward to hearing the answers. I was trying to remember and it seems like when I have received invitations that they were in the fold but I'm not for sure.
I'm putting the card inside the fold so that they don't lose it or wonder where it is. I also think it looks nicer (our response cards are cream and our envelopes are green - the cream stands out more outside of the envelope than in it).
I have no idea.
I've been wondering this too, and also, I'm making a map to go with it; should I make that the size to go in the inner envelope or outer?
As far as the response cards, I'm thinking (unless I hear that it's wrong) I'll probably just tuck it. People are probably more likely to remember to fill it out if it pops out with the rest of the bundle, rather than fishing for it in an envelope...?
Go Noles, I know that the map should go in the inner envelope. I think I agree with you guys about tucking it in the fold.

I got an instruction booklet with my invites and it said to tuck the respons card underneath the fold of the envelope.
I just finished mine today, and my stationer said you put it under the flap. Make sure you number your guest list and the back of the response cards, so you can keep organized, and in case that a respondent might not write their name in.
Put it tucked into the flap, not fully enclosed inside the response envelope. Put it with the invitation and any direction cards, etc, inside the inner envelope. GL!

My mom and I just spent 6 hours putting the invitations together and tying a bow around them and then sealing etc...But we're done! :)
