They could be two different color irises or even lisianthus.
Thank you! I just wish I knew more about this sort of thing.
It would make life SO much easier!

They look to me like sweet pea. Also, I don't think a florist would mind answering a simple question, even if you aren't going to buy anything.
I agree, the light ones look like sweet peas, and the darker ones are definetly tulips. It looks like there may even be a few white sweet peas in there too.
You guys are awesome! Thanks so much!
I'm thinking of throwing some purple artichokes in with it too... to mis it up a bit.
Isn't it funny how wedding planning is turning all of us into mini-experts on all sorts of things that we never knew anything about before!
Thanks again!
Dark Purple: Tulips
slightly lighter purple: iris
lavender: sweetpeas - although you can prolly get the same effect with alistromeria(not sure you can get the right colors though).
Greens: not sure about this one but it almost looks like cocculus or israeli roscus
Hope that helps!
Wow RinaRoo! You must have some serious floral training!

Sorry, there are no users yet.
I really want to try and duplicate this arrangement but I'm totally lost!
I see dark purple tulips and possibly light pink sweet peas but for the life of me can't figure out what else is in it. Hydrangea? What are the light purple flowers and if it is hydrangea, any idea how they split them so effectively?
Come ladies, there must be someone out there who can help me deconstruct this arrangement!
I'm trying to avoid taking a picture into a flower shop that I have no intention of purchasing anything from and asking for help there. It just seems... tacky to me.
Thanks!
