@engagedsagebrush:  I’d use a little bit of lotion to make it easier to get it off, then lotion up.  It makes them REALLY dingy.

I always take mine off to put lotion on or wash my hands. Sometimes it gets me in trouble because I temporarily misplace it! But mine is super loose on me so it practically falls off anyway. I have a lot of tiny grooves and nooks and crannies in my ring so I would have to wash it every day if I left it on while putting lotion on. if you have a simpler ring, it should be fine. I see yours has channel set stones which may hide some lotion but just give it a scrub regularly and you should be fine. Pretty ring!!!

Here is mine!

I would if I could get them off. arthritis problems. I just use the dazzle stick often To clean ’em up.

@engagedsagebrush:  I always take mine off to apply lotion.

What helps to get a ring past those knuckles is windex. A jeweler told me that once and by God, it works!

I always take my rings off before putting lotion on!  I am obsessed with my ring being super clean and lotion makes it look cloudy!

I always take mine off to put lotion on. I would be cleaning it every day if I didn’t. Maybe your ring is too small. It shouldn’t hurt to take off.

Maybe get your ring re-sized…I always take mine off to put lotion on.  Also to sleep and to shower, and to do dishes, and to clean the house, and to go swimming.  I told the jeweler that and she was impressed…she said people even go into the OCEAN with their rings on!!!!

@peachacid:  I take my ring off for pretty much all of those things, too.

Your ring is so pretty! Lotion won’t necessarily damage it, but it will affect its shine factor and will leave a lot of unnecessary residue on it.

I take mine off most of the time to put lotion on. Unless I have no where safe to set my ring, then I just try to avoid getting lotion on my ring.

I work in a lab and wash my hands a lot. I like ProGaurd Professional Handcream. I find I need to apply less, it absorbs fast, and is scent free.  When I use other hand creams at work I find myself applying them more often.
