i think it's up to you. since it's already picked out i don't think you need to, unless you're worried about it. for me, i love my fi but not his style. i wanted to go with him when he picked everything out just to make sure, and him being color blind doesn't help matters.
I think the superstition falls only only on the side of the bride. My FI wants me to help him pick out his tux. If you want to see it, I say go for it! Just keep your dress hidden away. :)
I won't see mine because he is renting it, and I will be too busy two days before wedding to check it out, but I did go with him and we picked colors and styles together. I really think it's up to you. If you want to have the same moment he gets when he sees you for the first time in your dress, I say go for it!
I will def. be there when he's buying his suit, he is completely clueless about fashion and also about proper fit. He wears a dress shirt and tie to work everyday, but he doesn't even care if the neck of the shirt fits him. He leaves the top button open under the tie if it's too tight... UGH....he's not allowed to go wedding suit shopping alone....LOL
I went with my husband when he picked out his tux. It's nice to make sure everything fit rights as my husband as definitely not as particular on fit as I am!

My FI refuses to show me his suit. I know it is cream linen to match my ivory dress but that's all I know. We both will be surprised at what the other is wearing....pleasantly I hope =)
I'm not sure what we'll do, but when my sister got married BIL said if he couldn't see her dress, he wanted to surprise her, too! lol.

my fiance had his suit custom made and it's all delivered (he went to the tailor with his sister for the female perspective). He gave me a sneak peak of the color and material from inside the bag, but neither of us are sure if I should see him in the suit ahead of time or not...what do you think?
