There is very little in bed that is going to hurt your ring. A person is far more likely to hit themselves or scratch a spouse than hurt the ring. Sure, touching the sheets will cause microscopic wear over decades, but it isn’t worth removing them, IMO. My fingers tend to swell a bit overnight, so I would have difficulty putting my rings on immediately upon waking, and I’d likely forget them if I waited until after I showered and was dressed.

I remove mine to go to the gym or for heavy-duty work with my hands (there’s very little of that, but I’d remove them if we were, say, moving paving stones for landscaping or something). I generally don’t remove them for much else. I sleep in them and shower with them on, and I clean them every few days so they don’t get icky.

I take them off for showering and washing dishes but not sleeping. The only times I’ve cut myself with my ring was during the day.

Only when doing my Habitat builds. Other than that, my finger might as well just naturally be shiny. I NEVER take this sucker off.

Nope, never take them off. Married 25 years, never had an issue. Of course I’ve had several resets for aesthetics. Lol

I always sleep with my ring on. I honestly feel naked without it and the thought of not sleeping with it seems strange. It comes off only for showering, heavy cleaning, cooking if handling meat. I’ve never had a problem honestly and no jeweler has actually told me this was wrong. I’d rather wear it to death than be afraid to wear it anywhere.

I do everythibg including swim in the Y pool with my rings on. Isn’t that the point of getting such a Hugh quality ring?

I need to be comfortable when I sleep. All jewelry comes off.

I almost never wear my engagement ring in the house. I slept with it on once and I woke up with a huge scratch on my cheek from the prongs. lol.

mrstattoo10816:  I’m a super active sleeper and I always have my head resting on my hands, so thats probably why.

I keep mine on the windowsill in the bathroom. lol. Its where I get ready, so its convenient for me.
