Because I still do all the time! Its crazy, we met 4 yrs ago and have been together for 3 and he still makes me nervous.  When im around him I still feel shy and anxious! Does anyone else feel like way? I know im comfortable around him so its more excited then nervous right? I love him so much but when he's around me, oh boy i feel like im in high school again

Yes! If I know he is meeting me somewhere, or something like that I get really nervous and giggly. Haha, kinda silly, but true! He makes my heart skip a beat :)

Is it weird that we've been married 5 months, and sometimes I get them *more* now?  I'm more in love each day... I'm such a sap!

Oh totally. We work together and it's SO hard to act like a normal person around him!

Not so much butterflies but a warm, fuzzy feeling inside. Now my husband says his heart still does little flips sometimes. Which gives me the warm fuzzy feeling when he tells me!

We live together and I still get the heart flip feeling every time I hear the front door opening as he's coming home from work. I hope that feeling never goes away!

Hmm...I don't think I get butterflies, per se. I'm not ever nervous or anxious around him anymore.  But I do get swells of that warm fuzzy feeling that @tessabelle describes.

I can't even put it into words, how I feel around him- I am so lucky- I spent years praying for him- and now after 3 years with him and I still am thanking god for getting it so RIGHT!

@Mrs.DG, me too!  As we were falling to sleep last night I was thinking how excited I am to have him, and how awesome it is that we're married!

Yes! I still do all the time! In fact, I went to dinner with my family last night and couldn't wait to get done so i could get home and see him. The whole way home i had massive butterflies!!!! I love that feeling and I love that I still feel that way!

I got butterflies with some of the people I dated when I was younger. With my fiance, I don't get butterflies. Instead, I get this sense of "Everything is right in the world" when he's around. We can be sitting in separate rooms, doing our own things, but when I look up and see him, everything is as it should be. We did a year's worth of LDR, and that whole time, it was like someone had cut off my arm. I'll never move away from him ever again.

I don't get nervous or a butterfly feeling, but I'm really happy almost every time I see him.  I just get a flooding sense of happiness and contentment.  :-)

@dh, @GaBGAL- it seems too good to be true that we get it more now than ever but its love, i anticipate all day until he gets home from work and as soon as i hear the keys at the door, I dash to it and greet him with a huge hug and kiss! I just miss him so much during the day especially being home with the baby and all, he is just so special to me!

Yeah. I'm not a butterflies-in-the-stomach kind of gal, and I concur with the ladies who get them more the longer they've been with their SOs. Mostly I feel unreasonably content around him.

I do still get crazy butterfilies when I'm around my FI. Part of that is that we are in a LDR and we don't get to spend nearly as much time together as we would like. But the bigger part of that is that he never ceases to amaze me with what he does and says. My FI works really hard to show me that I am a vital part of his life and that I help to complete him. Definitely the type of stuff that sweeps a girl off her feet.
