Lol With dd I started talking to my belly around the time we found out she was a girl (20weeks). I’m almost 15weeks now & I give it a few more weeks until I really start talking to my belly lol. Dd talks to my belly it’s hilarious.

I talked to my belly all the time when was pregnant with little boy. LOL I would tell him to quiet down in there when he was bouncing around and making me feel like on a roller coaster.

Not that much like i did with my other 3.  I was kinda disconnected there for a while BUT I read to my kids every night so he gets read to as well (I guess LOL).  I also play classical music for him on occasion.  The other day he was REALLY active while I was trying to take a nap so I put on some classical music and he literally quieted down immediately.  When he moves and it hurts I’ll rub my belly and shush him like I would a baby LOL… like it’s ok, don’t move so hard.  I dh talks to my belly as well… not alot but baby seems to like his voice.

I talk to her every so often. DH has been talking to her a lot more ever since I pointed out that she’s probably going to think that the narrator of the Game of Thrones audiobook is her father, haha. Now DH sings her songs about how “that British guy isn’t your father he’s just reading Mommy a book.” It’s hilarious.

Not yet, but I’m only 13 weeks. I do, however, sing “Personal Penguin” to it in the shower (after DH has left for work). Embarassed

Only when my little man is moving around a ton or hurting me with his kicks, I usually say: “WHAT in the world are you doing down there ya little stinker?!”

I have tried just talking to him out of the blue and it just feels awkward. But yet I talk to my dog all the time like he is an actual human… Yep, I’m a big ole’ weird-o 😛

I haven’t talked I my belly yet (almost 20 weeks), but I do sing in the shower. I’m hoping she’ll recognize the songs after she’s born.

@cowgirlace:  Haha, that’s a good point, I happily talk to my dog and ask her questions like she can answer, but then feel weird about talking to baby! Another weird-o here then 🙂

DH and I both talked to my belly when I was pregnant. Mostly I would ask her nicely to calm down when she was beating me up. 🙂 Sometimes we read stories to her.

Haha well I’m a super weirdo then, I am not pregnant but I do talk to my eggs and tell them to let the little spermies in… It hasn’t worked yet but one day they’ll listen to me 🙂
