Do you think he's going to propose soon?

I vote yes!  A big deal breaker for men to be ready to propose is financial reasons! Seems like this boost in confidence came from his test scores/being contacted!  What an awesome time of year for you both 🙂

I would let it happen, try to obsess over it, and feel him out for the next 6 months! 🙂

I say dont think about it. Yes all signs point to yes but you will ruin a lot of the element of surprise. We are planning our wedding right now and I know every single thing there is to know about my ring etc but I refuse to ask details on if he is going to propose. I want it to be a surprise when he traditionally asks…

@Kahley15:  be prepared that he might throw you off,…sometimes men really get into the whole special proposal thing and secrecy… my husband did!

@Waitingbee57:  You guys are planning your wedding, but not yet technically engaged? Or, you are engaged, but just have not gotten a ring?

Off topic, it was just confusing.

@Waitingbee57:  nevermind, just read one of your previous posts… So, no need to explain. : ) I’m all about people taking the non-traditional routes and not being overly worried about the material things that seems so standard (ie: the focal point of a ring), so that was why I was intrigued.

@smv22114:  Yup. No ring but we have a mutual aggreement it went like this for anyone who is interested. Not really sure what order anymore…but we started talking about what he was going to do when he turned 26 and has to get off of his moms insurance (he has health problems) and we talking about getting married and then we both aggreed it was a good idea. Now he is giving me his gmas engagement ring soon but he will be surprising me with what he calls a proper proposal.

@Waitingbee57:  at first, I thought maybe you were a bee planning a wedding that may (or may not) even happen, but quickly saw that’s not the case. That’s sweet that he gets to pass down his grandmother’s ring. : ) and, a very levelheaded and nature approach as for your planning process, I’d say.
