I think what you are talking about would look nice, but I'm not sure about the bow on your dress going along with all that lace. The lace is the feature of the first dress and the bow is the feature of your dress. Can you detach the bow when you add the lace, then add the bow when you take off the lace? Hey, if you do that it may look like you have two completely different dresses! : )
I love the second lace coverup, just beautiful and I think it would look great with that dress. There is a ton of that stuff on etsy, and it would be easy to find the perfect one to go with that dress.
I think it will look great--but will it end before the bow? I would want to make sure it would not look bunched up over/on top of the bow.

the second one is so cute, but i would get rid of the bow, it might be too much with both! good luck!
I would stay away from cap sleeves like the one in the second picture. They are really only flattering on people with microscopic arms. Something with a slightly longer sleeve would be pretty though.
That concept has potential! The bow concerns me too. But pursue the idea, I think it'll be great!!
I was thinking about removing the bow and attaching it to a pin so that I could take it off when I was wearing the lace and then replace it for the reception.
I've been looking for something similar on Etsy and I am not finding anything. :(
Do any of you ladies know where else I could look?
I think its a nice idea but I have some concerns. It seems where your dress cinches in would cause some problems and the bow may interfere. I would go to some bridal shops and try on some options with your dress. This one is hard for me to picture.
That last pic is breathtaking. Beautiful dress.
That's my dress! Yay dress twins! I would remove the bow and then I think the lace top would be amazing! Wish I would have had that idea! But my wedding has no lace in it. Very pretty! Go for it
What do you guys think of this jacket/top?
I can't really see how far it goes down, but it's gorgeous.
I need help finding items like this. I maybe am using the wrong search term. I have done bridal jacket, bridal top, bridal bolero. and thrown lace in the searches as well. I have found nothing.. I have only found the traditional bolero type and not any that completely cover the chest like my examples.
Help!
I did look at that one but I talked to the designer and it isn't long enough to fit with my dress properly and would be very hard to add a nude lining. :(
Personally I think the lace would compete too much with that beautiful bow. I think your dress is gorgeous just the way it is!

A lace top/jacket?
I have been thinking of adding a removable lace top a la Justin Alexander 9552 but with much shorter sleeves and possibly not quite the turtle neck. And I would also have the lace go under the actual bodice, not on top of the dress.
My dress is Galina T3039:
I would have the top lined in a nude color so my tattoo wouldn't show through and make it cluttery and strange.
In a perfect world I would want it to look like the top of this bride's dress:
And then after the ceremony, I would take off the lace part and just rock out with the original dress. Thoughts? I need all of your opinions!
