I don’t know if I quite understand what you will be using each type of flower for.  I love the carnations and the succulants in the gray planters.  Hops are good for the groom.  I’m not sure about paper and real flowers together in an arrangement?  That’s where I get lost.  But I do love each thing individually and your color scheme and Lisa Frank!

Maybe those are paper daisies on the table?  Yes I like those too.

I think each theme is gorgeous! But I don’t really understand how you’re putting them all together?

I like the carnations and the hops together, as I think that is a great way to encorporate things you both like together, and it is also wonderfully individualistic.  But I don’t think that those work well with the succulents at all.

How do you plan on tying in the paper flowers?

I like carnations, succulents and hops together, perhaps with a few filler flowers, but I don’t like the idea of adding paper flowers to that mix, sorry.

@HonoraryNerd:  The cupcake holder carnations are so cute!  I think maybe you should keep the real and paper flowers separate. I worry that somehow the paper ones will get wet.  Maybe make your bouquet and bouts out of the real carnations, succulants and hops.  And make the paper ones for centerpieces.

I really love that yellow bouquet with the succulants.  It really reminds me of Lisa Frank!

We had hops and succulents, among other flowers (and brooches also in my bouquet)!  The hops they made cascade, so you could work that into your bouquet.  I think they work together!  And definitely use hops!  Everyone thought that was crazy awesome, and it’s such a good way to represent his interests!

@HonoraryNerd:  Okay, so this is really late, but I keep forgetting to get a better quality picture!  So here is a mashup of the boutonniere (top left), toss bouquet (bottom left, after the toss and therefore a bit ragged), and my bouquet (right).  They all had hops!  I’ll try to find a better picture of my bouquet, though, this one is really too tiny.

You can always go to a florist and ask for a few stems of each to play around with! 🙂 I think they will look awesome together.

I’m not sure if you’ll need the paper flowers though? At least not in your flowers…maybe in other decorations?

I’m not sure the succulents will mix well with the hops.  That’s my biggest concern.  A florist would know better than me.

And personally, I’m not a fan of paper flowers, especially mixed with real flowers.  I’d pick real or silk and keep everything the same.
