So, since before I was engaged I have been IN LOVE with the Hey Lady Shoes At Tiffany’s heel (in blue, of course). I would look at them, then look at the price tag and go “No way, Jose!” and move on…. that is, until after I actually got engaged, and then noticed their “anatomy of a shoe” section and realized that they’re engineered to be uber comfy.
So now I’m stuck on them again. However, I’m not sure that they will look right with the dress I’m most seriously considering.
The dress is Maggie Sottero Rhianna Royale in Light Gold/Champagne.
I’m just curious as to whether or not you think they will go ok. My second favorite are the Hey Lady Champagne Bubbles, which i think will match well but won’t have the same “after the wedding” wearability
Here is the dress, with close up detail images I found for color:

I’m not great with style, but I think they go well together! The detail on that dress is gorgeous.

from what i see the shoes are more aqua than blue and with the white stripe combination and the peachy color of the dress i dont think they match at all. i wouldnt wear those shoes with that dress.

I think they’d be adorable with your dress!

Yes, the white color is certainly the part that concerns me… Unfortunately, I look terrible in stark white.
I know that you’ll barely see the shoes at all, though, so that’s kind of why I still considered it- you won’t be seeing them much, and I would actually wear these after the wedding too (probably not all the time, but enough to get my moneys worth)
Idk. I’ll probably wait until after I actually purchase my dress…. this is probably the one I will get, but i’ve only tried it on once and the salon near me sold their sample, so I can’t try it on again until I visit my friend in a few weeks… This is why I hate salons that won’t let you take photos, btw. Really, really hate it.

IMO i think you’re dress has too much going on to have a shoe like that, they would be competing more than complementing. have you considered something ‘less busy’? maybe an ivory peep toe platform or something similar?

Super cute shoes to dress up a nice pair of jeans. But I have to agree with some of the PP’s, they don’t really go with your dress. I think they take away from the beauty of it.. but get them anyways and wear them on your honeymoon or something!!
