I tried on this dress on Saturday and fell in love with the flattering cut and unique Rum Pink color, a slightly more pink than gold champagne. My only concern is that it may be too plain. Sure, it’s got the sassy bow and pretty rhinestone brooch at the hip, but other than that, it’s a very simple dress.
What do you think? Is it too plain for a wedding gown?
For reference, my other strong contenders are the VERY ornate Casablanca 1988 and Maggie Sottero Harlow, and the more modern but still extremely bridal Anjolique 1010.

No way! i think it is beautiful and elegant. Sometimes simple can end up looking more stunning than fancy rhinestones/ beads/ sequins/etc.

I think that it’s beautiful. If you are concerned that it’s too plain then maybe that’s not “the dress” for you. When you find “the dress” you will have no doubts about it. I mean there are some brides who like simplicity and some brides that like extravagant gowns. You need to figure out your own style.

It’s all about how it looks on you and how you feel in it. It’s a very pretty dress! If you love it, then like the pp said, you will know it’s yours.

I love the simplicity of it, yet it really highlights the details of it.

I don’t think its too plain at all – – you can always dress it up a little bit.
- Wear gloves out of the same material w/ pair of drop earrings, and a hair broach?
- Wear an amazing pair of drop earrings w/ matching cuff?
- Wear a gorgeous web necklace, no bracelet, simple elegant earings?

Not at all…it is gorgeous. I don’t think you necessarily need lots going on in order to have a beautiful wedding dress 🙂 I loooove the pleats at the back, and the bow…it is stunning!

I was worried that mine was a little to plain as well, but I love the dress and I figured once I add my jewelry and get all dolled up I think it will all come together and look great 🙂
Don’t worry! If you love the dress YOU will make it lovely 🙂

I think it’s perfect! You can always add beaded embellishments if you want or another broach but I like it as is. Don’t want your dress to take away from YOU 🙂
