My fiance and I have chosen “Stand by Me” for our first dance song. We are having a guitarist play for our beach ceremony and he has this song on his list. I would like to have him play the acoustical version for the recessional music (when everyone is heading to the reception after the ceremony) but I also want to use it as our first dance song at the reception. One would be acoustical and one would be the actual song. Do you think this is tacky? I’m not sure that anyone would notice but they might.

My bf and I love that song! Our friends got married in Maui and we requested that song to the ukalele singer. It’s so beautiful =) I say play it twice! I agree with MadameLady; no one will give you negative points for it!
