I am a fan of princess cut! To be honest its hard for me to see this ring with a round stone. I love how it looks with the princess cut though. It all depends on your taste tho and how you feel about it!! either way i know it will be stunning!! :) congrats!
I think it would great with a round stone! I do have a brilliant cut stone, so I may be a little biased :) But seriously, if it is immediately surrounded by princess stones and then changes back into round stones in the band, it will probably look awesome- like it was meant to be that way all along!
Can't wait to see it!!!!
Wow! Thank you! You guys are fast on the replies! I tried to see what it would look like round using the build a ring feature on the website but it would only me select a princess or a marquise diamond! I hope that's not telling me something. While I am not a fan of marquise diamonds, I have to admit, this ring looks awesome with a marquise. I'm hoping it will be the same way with a round. :-)
My friend thinks a round will soften the ring up. I think it's beautiful and the detail is amazing. It even looks awesome with a princess cut. I'm kind of kicking myself for helping him pick one out bc he probably would have picked out something beautiful on his own and I wouldn't be second guessing anything!
I think so! I love princess cuts, but rounds have slowly grown on me as well LOL. There's a bee that has a ring that kind of reminds me of that one, and hers is a round center...for the life of me I can't remember where I saw it though :(
I think it would fabulous with a round. Here's a really, really crappy mock-up I did in Paint.
Yes! My ring is very similiar and was originally designed for a princess setting. My fiance ordered it with a round setting and I think it looks wonderful. It looks like you have square side stones (which I also have) and I think the contrast from the center round diamond is really cool.
@linguo42: Thank you! It does look amazing that way! And I dont think it's a crappy photo shop! Much better than I could've done!
@Zouave: Yes, it does have twin princess side stones. I think it looks better with a round. I'm surprised they don't offer it like that. What does your ring look like? I'm curious to see. :-)
Yessss round ftw!! :) Love round stones but it definitely does look awesome in that setting...
I absolutely love it with a round stone! We did good! :) (Please pay no attention to my extremely dried out old lady hands. I swear to God I'm only 32!

Hi everyone! This is my first posting! I have a question and I would like HONEST opinions. My fiancé to be and I picked out this beautiful ring last week but since I am partial to round brilliant center stones, I opted to having the princess cut center stone swapped out with a round brilliant Leo diamond. Now I amhaving 2nd thoughts bc the immediate side stones are princess cut, however the rest of the band is round diamonds. I just don't want it to look funny. I haven't gotten it yet and the jeweler assured us we could swap it out for a princess if we didn't think it looked right. Please give me your honest opinion.
