I'd find someone else. The last thing you need to worry about is an unresponsive travel agent!
I think you should call her again (& if you get VM, leave a message) stating exactly what you told us - and that if she doesn't start getting things together, that you have no choice but to find another travel agent. Hopefully, this will make her get on the ball & be more attentive, and if it doesn't, find a new one!
Agreed. This is the last thing that you want to deal with for the next 18 months.

So, we have found our travel agent, referred by Mr. M's aunt. She uses the same lady all the time, so i figured it would be a good choice. We picked a cruise and set the date and blocked the rooms the beginning of this month. We are putting down the deposits on the 31st. I haven't heard from her in almost 2 weeks. I understand its so far out, but she is working for us. We are paying for her commission. She told me she was going to get information on wedding package prices a few days before the last time I talked to her, she never said anything to me about it. She hasn't even called to touch base and make sure we still need the amount of rooms we have blocked or if we are going to need more. When she has told me she was going to call me back that night or the next day, I don't hear from her until 2-3 days later and I have called back her a few times. I would think she would want to make this decent sizes commission off us (we are going to have at least 50 rooms), but it seems like she doesn't care. I don't want to put our deposits down and have to deal with this for the next 18 months. My mom says I should call her and tell her whats going on but I don't feel I should be the one who calls her, like I said, she is working for me. What would you do?
