(Closed) Do you tip stylist at hair and makeup trial?

Im getting charged $350 plus tip for me, my mom and sister for makeup and hair the day of the wedding. I tiped 20$ the day of the hair/makeup trial because she did a trial for my mom, sister (maid of honor) and me and I have ALOT of hair and she curled every peice

My trials cost $50 each. I tipped $10 each time. I think you tip for service, regardless of the package you bought. I try to do 20% if I’m satisfied. Also, you want them to want to do a good job on the day-of… a small “investment”…

From what I understand, if they are an independent business owner, they do not get tipped as all the money they charge goes directly to them anyway.

If they do work for a company that they do not own, a 15-20% tip is appropriate.

I didn’t tip my makeup artist for my trial as it is her own company.  I got my hair done last night and tipped my stylist 25% because I love him! lol.
