We're not tipping our main photographer because she's the owner of the company. However, she's bringing a second shooter with her. Do we tip them? If so, how much? Did anyone else tip their second shooters?

    Thanks!

We didn't. He was part of our upgraded package and therefore, we figured we paid for him upfront. And we also had oodles of issues with our photographer so that we didn't feel like we SHOULD tip. In fact, we feel like they should refund us some money! Ha!

    Thanks, ejs4y8!

Anyone else have experience with this?

I plan on tipping my second shooter at least $50, but maybe up to $100 if I feel he's really spectacular. (The second shooter costs an additional $750 on my photography package)

I tipped the second shooter. $50-$100 sounds about right.

Very nice to tip. I hope I don't get in trouble for saying this ( other photog's may feel differently ) , but it's isn't neccessary at all.        Your photographer will already have worked the money out with the 2nd shooter.     As a photographer,   I only get tipped occassionally and it really isn't needed.

On the rare occassions I've been tipped, it was because I either stayed a little extra without charging or drove a really long way for the wedding without charging.
