@jesssamesssa:  Well DH got a vasectomy but he hasn’t had himself tested yet to make sure it worked… so I’m still on the pill!

@jesssamesssa:  I was on the pill for a long time, so I continued staying on the pill until we were ready. Had I not been on the pill at the time of marriage I would probably have just opted for condoms since we knew we were planning on trying after the first year anyway.

I’m still on BC, he wants to start trying soon but I’m not ready yet. (Sadly, I don’t know if I ever will be …)

But BC helps with my acne problems!

I have an IUD. After going through a ton of other BCs, it’s about the only option I have with less symptoms but still hormones for my endometriosis.

I’m on the pill but I don’t love it.  Fat and bitchy.  🙂  Had a Mirena IUD before we married but my 5 years were up.  Thought husband would be ready for kids sooner.  If he isn’t soon I might get a copper one.  Love my 4 periods a year and no menstrual migraines, but not sure if I can do hormones forever.  Will definitely go that route between kids.

BCP but I went on originally for medical reasons.  I never had any issues so that’s probably the only form I would use.  I would consider IUD but I don’t relaly know much about it.

When I was dating I’d use condoms (in addition to BCP, for STD reasons) unless I was in a monogamous relationship.  Then I just stuck to BCP.

I was tired of pills and how they effect me, so I’m 3 pills away with being done with them!!!  So condoms it is.

I started the pill well before we were married (when I met H I was not on it so we used condoms).  We have no plans for kids, just relying on taking my pill on time (I even have an alarm for it).
