@bebero:  I’ve never had a problem with clean eating breakouts but I would suggest trying zinc supplements. Another bee posted about them yesterday and her success. I can fully attest to that! I had terrible random breakouts up until I started taking zinc (bought in the vitamin section of target for cheap) and now I hardly ever break out! I get the occasional pms pimple every month or so, but it’s nothing compared to what I used to experience!

@bebero:  When I started calroie counting and getting away from the greasy, fatty foods and junk more and more, my face started to break out at first because of the changes my body went through. it wasn’t “conditioned” for such a drastic diet change, so to speak. I guess it ended up more oily than actually pimples. It cleanred up within a month of two, I want to say. Then, of course, I went off BC, turned oily again, but again it clearned up with continuing to eat healthy.

I would say it is normal for your skin to freak out, but eventually it SHOULD start to clear. I would take a multivitamin if you aren’t already doing so, use a face wash and moisturizer as well. Also make sure that as part of eating cleaner you are drinking 64oz of fluids a day, especially water, which I assume you are 🙂
