I have seen a few posts about them lately and I saw them on one of the sites that I order from all the time. They have them until tomorrow night at 11pm cst, 4 for $5 (super cheap!) in your choice of colors. I just thought I would share that because I can’t remember whose posts they were.

We plan on having them at our wedding. The whole event of them is just so “magical” as lame as the sounds.

I definitely want them! And that’s pretty darn cheap for sky lanterns! Thanks.

We aren’t going to have them, but I really do love the idea, and I kind of wish we could.

We are doing them in memory of loved ones that we wish could be with us.

I’d love to but I don’t want to risk setting a fire in dry season.

We estimated 1 each for our wedding so hv tons leftover. Let me know if anyone is interested. $2 each including priority shipping. for a small fee, I can also buy n tie strings on the frame so you can gently guide them back to you when the fuel pack finishes.

Never. My husband has worked in the manufacturing end of the fire and rescue industry for decades. He would agree with me.
My daughter attended an outdoor wedding/reception that had them. They were a big failure. Some didn’t launch, some caught fire, guests had trouble lighting them, a few got caught in the wind currents and ended up god knows where…

I saw a website for biodegradable lanterns, so that’s what we’re going to order for our beach reception. I think they look beautiful when they are launched. Like a PP said, it’s magical.
