Looking around and talking to other women in real life, I see that many do not wear their engagement rings anymore. Some don’t even wear their wedding bands even though they are happily married. I am planning on wearing all my 3 bands (wedding band, ering and anniv band all the time)
How do you wear your rings on a daily basis? Do you always wear your band and e-ring together?
If you are not married yet, answer the poll in terms of how you plan to wear your rings regularly.

I couldnt vote because sometimes I just wear one band sometimes two and sometimes both bands and my e-ring…yesterday I only wore my e-ring all day….just depends on the mood I am in or if it is hot and I am swollen,,,or if i am doing alot of housework that day etc

i have 3 rings; an ering, a full eternity band and a plain band. i wear them altogether mostly but i like the eternity band with just my ering together and then for casual i wear my eternity band with my plain band. so, usually 2 rings anyways.

@lilsweetie: So far I am wearing both bands together all the time. I think when it gets super hot my finger might swell too much to wear both so I’d just go with my wedding band in that instance. I think also when I travel for work I’d also just wear my wedding band.
I can’t imagine wearing NOTHING. But my parents have been happily married for 36 years and my dad has never worn his wedding band, and my mom only started wearing her engagement ring about 10 years ago when she had it re-set – no wedding band though.

I plan on wearing just my wedding band. My e-ring is impossible to stack anyway as it’s a weird shape and it’s also very dainty so I’m worried to death about it all the time.
My grandmother always wore just her wedding ring whereas my mother stacked all hers on one finger. I just always preferred the simplicity of the band on it’s own, so that’s what I will do 🙂

it’s still fresh so yes I do but later I like the plain band

Well we aren’t married yet.. but when we are I plan on wearing both wedding bands in addition to my e-ring.. although sometimes when I’m wearing them around the house for fun it kind of bugs me to have all 3 on. During the summer when my fingers swell maybe I’ll just wear my e-ring? Idk haha. I guess I’m not good at answering your question LOL

I will be wearing both. Can’t imagine giving up the e-ring!

I wear my e ring and wedding band most of the time but when I was in clinicals I wore my plain band only.

My parents have been married 30 years and never wore bands. My mom never had an engagement ring either. Just wasn’t important to them at that time.
My dad lost his wedding band early on and my mom said, ‘well if you’re not wearing one, i’m not either!’ lol.
Just recently, for mother’s day, me, my sis and dad got my mom a 3-stone engagement/anniversary ring. We are waiting for it to arrive right now and she’s excited to get a ring after all these years. We are also getting my dad a titanium wedding band which is also being shipped to us right now.

I wear both my plain band and three stone engagement ring everyday… 🙂

I wear both rings. My wedding band is a guard that wraps around both sides of my engagement ring, so it would look strange without the e-ring in the middle. Plus, when Darling Husband gave me my e-ring I never wanted to take it off, and that feeling hasn’t changed. To me it’s just the most gorgeous ring in the world, and the wedding band just makes it even more gorgeous, so yeah…I’m always going to wear them both.

I wear both every day except for the past few weeks because my e-ring is at the jeweler getting a diamond replaced. At first I was switching back and forth between a bunch of different rings that I have because my w-band is curved to fit against my halo. But now I just turn the band around so the curve is sitting on the inside of my finger and you can’t see it.

If I’m at home I don’t even wear my Engagement Ring. I really only wear it in public because it makes me feel pretty. And I live with my Fiance, so I’m pretty sure he knows we’re engaged.
Once I get married I’ll probably wear both for the first year or so, and then switch down to the band only. Aside from formal situations, etc, where I’ll rock both.

@the_future_mrs: I take mine off at home too. The moment I get home. I don’t want to risk damaging them.
