I plan on wearing my ring to the ceremony. He’ll slip the wedding band next to my e-ring.  It’s too gorgeous not to wear it!  He’d have to pry it off my cold dead fingers to get it off me. ๐Ÿ™‚

i had it on my left the whole time until it was time to put our wedding bands on, then i quickly moved my e-ring to the right hand – because i now always wear it on my right hand.

I wore mine on my left hand, where it always is, during the ceremony. I didn’t want to be without it or wear it on my other hand. I wore my grandmother’s first engagement ring on my right hand. After the ring ceremony, I took both of my rings off and turned them around the correct way.

I walked in with it on my left hand – remembered it was one as an opening prayer was prayed – and tried to switch it and juggle my bouquet ๐Ÿ™‚  Other than not paying attention to the prayer, all was fine! (I wish I had remembered to switch it before hand, though!)

I wore mine during our ceremony.  When it was time to exchange rings, I took it off and handed to DH for him to place in my wedding ring wrap.

We are actually going to incorporate my e-ring into our ceremony. After we do the ring exchange the officiant will give my ering to my FI and say:

The engagement ring is a symbol of promise and intention.  Now the intention is realized and the promise fulfilled.  Please place your engagement ring on TinyTina’s finger over her wedding band to symbolize that the love that brought you together will always protect and sustain your marriage.

I can’t decide what to do.  My hands are different enough sizes (especially during the summer) that I can’t realistically wear it on my right hand because it could get stuck.  So, it’s between leaving it back in the bridal suite and put it on after the ceremony, or just wear it and switch the rings’ order after.  I like the way the wedding band looks so delicate there by itself, but on the other hand, it’s contoured so is really meant to be worn w/ the e-ring.

@TinyTina: By the way, that’s a great idea.  May have to borrow that one.

I forgot to take it off before the ceremony, so when the priest was praying, I quickly took it off my left and put it on my right, sneaky sneaky ๐Ÿ™‚

My engagement ring doesn’t fit on my right finger. I had hoped to wear it on my right finger and then switch it over to live happily ever after with my wedding band.

I guess I’m just going to wear my engagement ring on my left finger during the ceremony.

BTW I think it’s weird when I see bridal pictures or pictures taken before the ceremony and the engagement ring is missing! I assume it’s because they put it on a different finger to make room for the ring exchanging/ceremony, but I still thing it’s weird.
