I am brand new to the boards (a new waiting bee, eek!). My boyfriend has been asking me for ring ideas and I honestly have no idea what to tell him. I do know that I want a ring that I can wear 99% of the time–in the shower, on a run, even to sleep. I know I’ll need a style that’s a little more “durable” for this reason.
If you wear your ering all the time, could you please post a picture? Thanks so much!

I do not take it off 🙂 I love it way too much

I wear mine all day every day. I take it off to shower, while washing my hands, and while I’m cleaning house. I don’t want soap to build up on it and I know chemicals are bad for it. I love it way too much to take off for any other reason!

I only take mine off when I’m doing dishes, but I’m paranoid it’s gonna slip off in the soapy water & go down the drain! If your ring is the right size, there shouldn’t be any reason that you would need to take it off.

I would suggest something set slightly lower, so that you aren’t catching it on things all the time. And perhaps going with platinum or palladium so you don’t have to replate it constantly. i wore mine for 6 straight months even showering and running everyday and the rhodium plating came off quite quickly. As a result, I have stopped wearing the ring at home to reduce replating time.. kind of annoying.

I take it off to shower/cook/clean, but other than that I sleep in it and wear it all the time.

I wear mine all the time! It did take some time to get used to because it has a high setting.

I wear mine all the time except putting on lotion etc. It’s 0.7 center carat. Something not huge is probably key for wearing it all the time…

I wear mine alllll the time. I only take it off to do gross stuff like clean chicken, put on sunscreen, or when I clean my ring.

@kandibee: I do but probably shouldn’t! Haha but I do care for them greatly, they stay off when I shower and put lotion on usually. Some gym days(usually when I cross train) I just wear my wedding band.

@blushbliss: Thanks, that’s a really great tip! I hadn’t thought about the type of metal that would be best, so I appreciate it. Gorgeous ring!
I love the bands on ya’lls rings. Are they pave? Have you ever lost a stone?

@kandibee: Welcome! I wear my ring 99% of the time. It really only comes off when I’m showering and applying lotion, then it goes right back on! It is a low setting, so fortunately I don’t catch it on things often.

Thanks everyone for posting your rings, it’s nice to see all the gorgeous (and all so different!) rings that are also able to be worn on a regular basis. THANKS 🙂
