I run at least 4 times a week (Trail running). I never wear my ring when running. I feel like my hands would swell and then I’d feel uncomfortable or something. Same when I go to the gym. How many of you ladies wear your ring when working out and is it uncomfortable or do you forget it’s even there?

@Marper: I never take my ring off, but it is slightly large on me (it spins).

I don’t. I’m afraid to damage them on the gym equipment for one thing, also my hands swell a little and they sometimes feel too tight. I always take my rings off when working out.

I always leave my wedding band on (I bought tungsten for a reason! Lol) I never wear my e-ring I have already had pave stones come out (my fault, I’m a klutz).

I wear mine most of the time if I am doing yoga, Pilates, or working out at home. I might take it off if I’m worried about my fingers swelling or damage.
Or for example we went camping/hiking earlier this year and I got a bug bite on a finger that swelled up so much I could barely bend my finger anymore! Thankfully it wasn’t my ring finger but it made me take my ring off for the rest of our trip just in case.

I always leave mine on, but my exercise of choice is hot yoga. My ring is slightly big (spins) but my dumb big knuckle holds it on. My hands definitely swell in class, but not to the point where I’m uncomfortable. If I were lifiting weights or something I would definitely be taking it off.

I don’t wear mine at the gym. I’ve been doing more weight training lately and I’m always worried that I’d damage the ring on the machines.

I only go running but definitely leave my ring on. It has never felt any different after taking a run than any other time of day.

I take mine off when I go to the gym; if I’m going for a walk outside I’ll leave it on.

If I’m doing cardio that doesn;t require that I touch anything, I wear them. Never for weights.

I take it off for weights, kickboxing and/or swimming. For cardio it stays on.

I wear weight lifitng gloves when doing weights and run so I never take it off.

No not with the type of workout I do….I’d hurt myself or others. I do boxing for fitness which includes some sparing, tons of mitt work and bag work so def no ring for me at the gym!

I never wear mine at the gym. I made that mistake once and then cried about a scratch!
