I went to get blood work two days ago (4w5d according to my calculations) and my hCG was 129. Yesterday (almost 48 hours later) it was 239. My Dr. is telling me that this is normal, but I still can’t stop thinking they seem low to me. I know every pregnancy is different, and some people don’t even want to know their hCG levels because of this. Does anyone know of anyone who had low hCG levels in early pregnancy and didn’t have a miscarriage? Did you even pay attention to your levels in early pregnancy?

I never have paid any attention to my hCG levels, so I don’t know what to tell you. Just don’t stress. Try to relax and don’t freak yourself out.

They never did any blood work with me so I never paid any attention to it. Seems like you’re in the normal range and your levels are increasing, which is a good sign.
I have to admit I did pee on a a stick every couple days until I had a dr appointment to watch the little line get darker, it’s pretty inaccurate but provided a bit of comfort to see the line darkening.

I didnt have any blood tests done at all, so I hvae no idea what my HcG levels were. I do know my friend had what the doctors told her were “low hcg levels” and they both took off after a few weeks (she now has 2 healthy girls.) So dont stress. If your doctor didnt seem concerned, I wouldnt stress too much 🙂

As long as the numbers are going up and doubling within a 48 hour period then you are on the right track. You numbers almost doubled so that is a good sign. If your numbers drop, that signals a miscarriage. But yours are going up so don’t worry!
I am on another message board for infertility and some ladies numbers have been much much lower than yours (we are talking 15-20) and they went on to have successful pregnancies.

You’re perfectly normal 🙂 The HCG range is so large that it would be obvious.
