My ering is rose gold and I bought a lovely rose gold watch by Skagen with a mother of pearl face. I’m really liking these Kendra Scott earrings, Elle, with mother of pearl but it only comes in gold I think. I’m not certain about a necklace at this point. Are all your accessories the same color metal?

I’m planning to have everything match, except my e-ring (gold jewelry, platinum e-ring). But you’ll probably have a harder time finding rose gold earrings, and I think they would look okay together– the mother of pearl is the focal point of the earrrings.

@salejolie: I am kind of struggling with the same thing right now. My e-ring is white gold and my dress has beading/a sash with silver embellishments but I have a necklace that my grandma (who has since passed) gave me which is yellow gold and I found some gorgeous gold earrings on etsy I want to wear, but am not sure if it will look okay! I am curious to see what bees think. Do you have any photos so we can understand better what it all looks like??

The colors match, but the type of metal doesn’t. My e-ring is black gold, all of my accessories are silver.

Yes, because 1) I much prefer silver tones and 2) our colors are black/grey/silver with royal blue so I think silvertone jewelry just looks better with that.
ETA: I plan to ask my BMs to wear silver shoes and accessories as well

I was all over the place. There was a lot of silver in my dress’s beading and I wore gold wired earrings, a platinum ring on my left hand, and a gold ring on my right. I think the clasp on my pearl necklace was also gold. As long as they’re all neutrals it looks fine!

Nope My e-ring, watch, necklace are white metals. My RHR, bracelet (right wrist) and earrings are yellow gold.

@salejolie: That ring is stunning! And I think all of those look lovely together!

@Bri1o: Thanks so much! The man did good! It’s a morganite, which I hinted about for quite awhile. 🙂

I think they look great together. I am in the same boat but with silver belt and gold accessories and have no idea if it will all go well together. I want a romantic vintage, almost Great Gatsby-esk look, but have no idea if it will all go together with out looking too much.

@salejolie: For the wedding I want all of my metals to match. On a day to day basis I comebine metals all the time.

My ring is rose gold and I found out that while I mix metals in life, that’s not happening on my wedding day. Jewelry and accessories, even shoes are rose gold. I love a very cohesive wedding look.

@nocleverbeepun: let me see your rose gold shoes! I searched but never found ones I liked and affordable and not discontinued.
