We all are choosing the Baldwin by Chinese Laundry. They are gorgeous!
All different! I am wearing hot pink shoes... they are wearing silver strappy sandles...whichever one's they want.
I think as long as they compliment yours it's fine. My bridesmaids are wearing blue and green flowered shoes with a little rosette on the toe, and I'm wearing ivory shoes with a green sole :)
My shoes are royal blue and I asked my BM's to wear whatever silver shoes they are comfortable with. So, no, none of our shoes will "match".
I am leaving my bridesmaid wear whatever shoes they want. probably just tell them a silver color in case they have shoes they already want to wear. the dresses are long so they wont be able to see them.
Not even close. Everyone is wearing their own selections because it would have been way to hard to find one shoe that made everyone happy.
Are your BM dresses short or long? For my wedding, we'll all be in floor length dresses, so I'm not too worried about shoes. I just asked the girls to all wear a black dress shoe and they're picking their own. My shoes are red. I think it'll look fine if you have one shoe and they have different shoes, but personally I'd keep their shoes in the same color or style family for cohesion (but I'm a matchy matchy person, you should think about whether the matching business will bug you or not!).
I just told them to get gold shoes... some ended up getting the same ones from Payless. I wore something completely different (ivory Badgley Mischka heels that matched my dress).
I never really thought about having our shoes match. I'm not sure it would be a big deal if they weren't matching. My gals picked out their own black shoes (to go with their black dresses) and I had ivory shoes peep toes.
My Bridesmaids are allowed to buy whatever shoes they want.. I told them they could have any shoes but they have to be black :)

My shoes didn't match the bridemaids shoes at all. They ended up being a similar color, but that was just a coincidence. I don't think anyone would notice if your shoes weren't matching, so go ahead and get whatever makes you happy.
no, i'm going to pick out 3-4 different shoes i like in black for them to pick their favorite... then i'll wear whatever shoes i decide on...either in black, pink, or brown. maybe similar styles by chance, but def not calculated in any way.
I have red shoes and I've wanted to wear them for ages. Then a few months ago I thought it would be nice if the girls wore red too, but more to match their bouquets than me ;) They can wear whatever style they want, they just need to be red.

my shoes are ivory and my BMs shoes are going to be a gold or champagne colored shoe of their choice - I dont think theyll look the same but not so different that they dont go!

I already bought my shoes and I found super cute $15 shoes at Target for my girls, but I haven't gotten them yet because I was kind of hoping to find shoes for them that were similar to mine. They are both slingback peep toes, but mine are satin with rouching and bling. Theirs are leather (fake) with a cute ruffle on top. I know that people won't see my shoes much, but I'm worried it will look funny.
What do you guys think? Are your bridesmaid's shoes similar to your own? Does it really matter? Please post pics if you have them. Thanks!
