    OMG yes! I cant even have the tv volume at an odd number. It kills me that we have to get married in ’13 but I didnt want to wait any longer. In fact Im getting married in an odd month too (November) but I justified it like this:

    11+2=13

    november = 11

    2

    2013

    Yes. I am crazy and mildly OCD. I am aware.

    yes, I want the one the other brides don’t want so I get a discount 🙂 I’m guessing that’s odd #s since OCD ppl usually like even #s (I think).

    We chose our date because it’s what was available at our venue of choice. Nothing sentimental, and no other requirements. I’ve heard of folks wanting their dating anniversary or a specific holiday, but never anything about evens or odds. If that’s important to you, go for it! (I just thought about it, and every number in mine is even. Go figure.)

    @jadlnc:  I realize this is completely ridiculous… but 08/16/14… feels good… lol.

    @lealorali:  that seems a little harsh. There’s so many seemingly pointless stuff people obsess about on this website. Sounds like somebody doesn’t want her odd number day discount!

    @jadlnc:  My only concern was convenience for us and our guests, and the season: we wanted a Saturday wedding, in the summer holidays. I didn’t care which specific date it was, and nor did OH.

    I wanted Feb 1st because I like the way the 1st of the month sounded.   But the FI said that months always sneak up on him and he would be worried about forgetting our anniversary.   At least when it hits Feb he now will have a week to prepare.

    “Oh shit, it’s February!   I have to remember.”

    He’s so smart….always anticipating issues.  Wink   So we went with the 8th.
