@jujee:  that’s gorgeous!! I love the shape.

I wear a RHR my fiance gave me every day. The setting was my grandmother’s and the center stone is a green amethyst because Green is my future last name :).

 This is my RHR!! It was my mother’s 40th anniversary ring, but I’ve worn it since she passed away.

Back when we were still dating, DH bought me a claddaugh ring when we visiting Dublin. I have worn it on my right hand every day since!

ETA: Ladies, your rings are so beautiful with such special stories!

@jujee:  My dad had this ring made for me.  It’s peices of my great aunts diamond and platinum broaches pulled apart and set into a ring.  They’re set in 18 K gold 🙂

You guys are lucky! I’ve always wanted an “heirloom” ring that could be passed down in my family. I love that jewellery tells a story long after generations are gone. I recently bought myself this RHR hoping that it may serve that purpose down the road… my fiance wanted to buy it for me but I wouldn’t let him Smile

My mom took the diamond that was in her engagement ring from my dad (they divorced amicably) and set it into a new ring for my 18th birthday.  I’ve worn it ever since!

I have a very thin, simple silver band that I wear on my right hand. It was once my DH’s grandmother’s wedding band.

These are my two right hand blues, my ering is also a topaz but set differently then these two. Love them all. My husband started buying me the topaz because he said they matched my eyes, it’s conveniently also my favourite stone.

well….I did 🙁 my dh bought me a beautiful RHR back in May…after having it for a couple months some of the gold looked like it was rubbing off (it’s a two tone gold ring) so, I sent it back to the company for them to “fix”…well 5 weeks later my ring comes back, they totally re-made the ring for me and I had it a week only for the whole center of the ring to come out….luckily I found it on the floor of my car. Now, I’m trying to decide what to do with it 🙁

Here are some pictures of it: sorry the last one is so blurry…but that’s how it looks now..ugh

My great grandfather’s ring. When i was younger my gran would visit and I would ask to try on her ring- I looooved it!  and always hoped she would forget I had it on when she left…she never did. She gave it to me when I graduated high school and its the only thing- jewelry I have worn everyday ( except engagement ring now). It means a lot more now that my gran has past and influenced my love for yellow gold.

FI and i have stainless steel bands engraved with “FI <3 me” on mine and “I <3 FI” on his (real names of course) that we wear on our right hands. They were cheap ($20 a piece) but mean a lot to us. Durable, and rather understated; like us.
