Or is it just me? Every morning I get up, go to the bathroom and blow my nose probably 4-5 times over the course of my morning potty time. I don’t have a cold and rarely have to blow my nose throughout the day, only in the morning. I never really thought anything of it but today it was runnier than usual.
Does this happen to anyone else? Our house is normally pretty cool (always 68-72 degrees) so I wonder if it’s just from sleeping in the central air all night.

I similarly thought it must just be me. I blew my nose multiple times every single morning, whether I was sick or not. Through the day, too, sometimes. People teased me for “honking.” I do have allergies, but it was runny even when they weren’t bothering me, like in the winter. Also, I’ve lived in central air and without, and it never made a difference.
I hadn’t been to a doctor for a physical in 5 or 6 years because of lack of insurance. This spring when I got insurance again, I went for a general check-up, and she said my sinuses were awful. When I told her about the nose blowing, she gave me a prescription for Flonase. I spray once a day, and it’s magical. Now, I still blow my nose, but I don’t go through entire boxes of tissues in a week. It’s not the first thing I have to do in the morning. All around, now I realize what’s it like to be normal about nose blowing. Definitely talk to your doctor!
(I sound like a cheesey infomercial, but hope it helps!)

Just did, actually!
It’s multiplied by 1,000 right now because it’s ragweed season and I seem to be sneezing all the way from my toes.
I’ve noticed that central air (or ESPECIALLY window AC’s) do make it worse!
AND, I’m having surgery for my deviated septum and polyps in September. Go me. My nose is awesomeeeee!

Yes! My doctors say it’s allergies so I take my allergy pills at night. I haven’t done my nasal rinse in a while but I need it!

I don’t, but Fiance does.

Both Darling Husband and I do. Whenever I get in the shower its blowing nose time. I hate the morning nose blows!
